Amazing camera!
Only one thought: I am still amazed how got so much optical power into such a small camera. I was surprised when I opened the box how small the camera is. But huge performance: great, super sharp images. Stabilization good. Low light photos very good. Panorama feature and watercolor and illustration effects excellent and very cool! Love it and great price from B&H.

Great photos
Very easy to use, very compact with many features. This camera will be with me all the time since it fits so easily into my purse and only weighs about 8 oz. I needed a camera with which I could take photos in RAW format with excellent resolution that did not feel like a burden because of tis bulk and weight. This camera fits the bill perfectly and eagerly look forward to many years of use.

Best Point and Shoot Ever!!!!!
I bought the camera to take with me on an recent eight day trip to Dubai. Needless to say, there was very hot weather there. My daughter and son-in-law went with me. Warning - Extreme Humidity Sensitivity
I got it 6 months ago. We just returned from a 1-week Disney Cruise with the g-kids and the LED screen stopped working. I sent it in for warranty repair...and got it back today un-repaired due to signs of corrosion. It was not subject to anything but 1 week of humidity on a cruise ship (which didn't bother our iPhones or iPads). Now, apparently the camera is toast...a very expensive and disappointing experience! This is a great buy with the extra battery, case and memory card. Would recommend also buying a plug in battery charger.

Great for the average person
I used to have a 5D Mark II camera that I used for filming purposes, but after lugging it around to various places with friends, I found it rather heavy and cumbersome. So impressed with this camera!
I shoot with a Sony DSLR and wanted something I could fit in my purse/pocket/bag without lugging around my big camera but still get the same quality type pictures. I bought this before a trip to Chicago and am so impressed with the quality of pictures I got. It doesn't come with a manuel so there is a learning curve but overall I am very happy with the results.

Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 Digital Camera (Black) by Sony
I use a dslr the majority of the time. I wanted something smaller for travel that still gave great results. B and H recommended this powerful little camera to me. I love it. The image quality is awesome which is what I was after. I feel like this camera is capable of doing so much more, but I have not had a chance to work with it yet. Just wish it had a viewfinder and more zoom. Thanks Band H. I am one happy customer!!

Great back up camera
This is my second RX100, first one damaged beyond repair. I use it to take stills as I am videotaping and as a back up for video. It gives many choices in composition and exposure that I'm used to in DSLRs. It's definitely not a point and shoot camera for beginners because of its price. I would get a third one if the need arises.

great Compact Camera
I carry this almost everywhere, it is that compact and light. but the photos it produces have very nice image quality, far, far better than the Canon S95 that I used to carry before the RX-100. Only cons- should come with a charger and the stabilization is not as effective as in the Canon S95 (and I find that out of habit from using the A7, I keep looking for a viewfinder, though the camera is not so sensitive re shallow depth of field under norm... DON'T LET SIZE FOOL YOU
BOUGHT THIS FOR THE SIZE AND THE FACT THAT IT IS NOT JUST A PS. IT ALLOWS YOU TO DABBLE IN REAL PHOTOGRAPHY YET FALL BACK ON AUTO AND GET GREAT PICTURES. LOOKING FORWARD TO LEARNING MORE TECHNICAL ASPECTS OF CAMERA. JUST WENT ON A TRIP AND TOTALLY RELIED ON AUTO AND HAVE AWESOME PHOTOS

Awesome!
DSLR functions on a compact camera. Haven't used it much but I'm thinking it will take some getting used to since the dial/some buttons have dual functions depending what mode you are shooting in. Awesome camera though and I can't wait to take it on my trips!

I purchased this camera as a gift for my daughter. Positives: 1. Easy to use. 2. Manual option to move your focus pt. to subject. 3. Great image quality for P&S. 4. Very responsive. However, noticed pictures have tendency to be slightly overexposed.

Sony service very poor
I bought this camera from BH last year.Somehow the edge near the pop up flash was damaged annd the flash wont pop up.I sent the camera for repair (under warrenty) to precision camera and they sent the camera to Sony in sandiago.I attached the original proof of purchase and precision camera did not send the invoice to sony.I have been calling sony everyday and they say they are still deciding.Either they repair or replace .Sony's customer service is not ok..

Semi-Pro point and shoot
An astonishing amount of professional features are built-into this small camera. It delivers remarkably sharp images. Excellent but limited zoom lens. The back screen is not bright in sunlight.

Pro quality point & shoot camera
It's truly astonishing the controls and quality Sony has packed into this camera that already has established itself as a photography legend. Easy to use. Tiny. Superb image quality. I also shoot with a Fuji X100 and X-E2 but suspect I will be preferring the RX100. Just slip it in a pocket.

great pocket camera
My husband wanted a camera that could fit in his pocket, and I wanted a camera that would take great photos. (I have a Fugifilm x-e1) The Sony RX-100 has made us both happy. We are impressed by the low light ability, it is so nice to be able to take photos indoors without a flash.
