I love this little thing BUT...
When the camera overheats you have NO CAMERA... think about it for a moment and then make your own ($1,300) decision. Other than that its a BEAST!!! no issues or complaint when the camera is cooled down.

Great Images. Difficult to operate.
Incredible still & motion picture images. However, This camera seems to be designed by engineers with little regard for the operational needs of a photographer. Otherwise, a great camera for the price.

Great camera, everything I had hoped it would be.
The only thing that distracts me is the battery life. I purchased a second battery for that just in case moment. I won't know how fast it uses battery life until I put the camera through a real event.

Awesome camera, no regrets
Awesome Sony camera, nothing to complain. Sharp images, fast focus and excellent low light performance. The only thing that should be mentioned is the vertical lines distortion when moving laterally.

Rivals the image quality of the original a7 at ISO 3200
As said in the headline, but also so much faster auto focus. I love how this camera feels in my hand. It is also just a more responsive camera than the original a7 and quite a step up from the a6000.

Awesome upgrade to a6000
Nice improvements to EVF, focus speed/tracking and image quality. Finally got back the EVF level. Bonus that the body is weather sealed and exactly the same size as a6000 (accessories will fit both).

Excellent Camera
This is an excellent walk around camera. The image quality is superb and rivals full frame sharpness. The completely silent shutter and focusing is amazing...press the shutter and you hear nothing.

Great camera!
Love this camera. Have not experienced overheating and rolling shutter isn't bad at 1080. If you use 4K probably need to use tripod and slow down on panning. Get a good prime lens and skip the kit.

Perfect Camera for videographers
I have tried this camera just for a few days and absolutely love it. I love that the it can handle high ISO for video which is really helpful for me as a wedding photographer and videographer.

Almost
Camera takes great pics and video. Easy to use and a great menu system. 4 stars because the on board flash is pretty much useless. Casts lens shadows because it is too low on the body.

I Love It, but shipping could be better
It was an excellent buy. However the packaging was damaged and half open by the time I recieved it. Luckily all the items were intact. There should be more care in packaging products.

Upgraded from A6000
I wasn't sure about upgrading from A6000 to A6300, but am really glad I did. It is so fast and some nice improvements. I also have a full frame Sony A7rii, which I also love.

Good camera but overheating
For the price it is a good product, but be carefull not use this camera for intensive shooting especially in video mode because after 20 mn the camera stop for overheating.

Welcome to the future.
Simply the best camera under 1000 dolars. Besides the troublesome and simewhat confusing menu, this camera is a photography beast, especially when it comes to 4 k video.

Great for photos, not video. ROLLING SHUTTER IS TERRIBLE
Ended up returning my A6300. I bought this camera for hikes and travel. This is a great photo camera, but video is unusable. The rolling shutter is absolutely terrible.

Great 2nd Camera
This is a great 2nd camera to go along with my Sony a7s2. One of the best features is the autofocus, 14-stops and the 24mp photos. Great camera for family stuff too.
