Does what is supposed to...without movin

Oct 1, 2011

I have a Standtastic tiered stand, an On-Stage X-frame tiered stand and this On-Stage KS7150 platform style stand. I use the Standtastic to hold the keyboards (Motif 88-key and Nord 73-key) and the KS7150 to hold the effects rack. (The On-Stage X-frame is used as a traveler when I have to move stuff myself.) The KS7150 is very sturdy. I was worried about it being too flimsy, but not at all. It is holding up a fully-loaded 14-space effects rack wi... Show More

Bying it the 2nd time

Jan 1, 2011

I owned this stand from 2007 through 2009 and had to sell it because of moving. Moving budget was limited (and I had a lot of other stuff) and otherwise I would keep the original stand (it may feel heavy but it's really stable and folds very compact. I believe it's a great choice for musicians on the go anyway.) Used it mostly in the lowest position while sitting on the bench/chair. It serves really good on hardwood, laminated, carpeted and even ... Show More

Great stand

Jan 2, 2011

I purchased this stand for my daughter to replace an X stand that she had for her 88-key Casio Privia keyboard. The stand she had before was wobbily, and not sturdy. Her keyboard is located in a room with carpeting, which seemed to make the X stand even more unstable. The platform keyboard stand is solid, stable, and sturdy (and kind of heavy- so no worries on tipping over!). She has room for her legs underneath and the height adjustments are per... Show More

Sturdy foldable keyboard stand / table

Jun 24, 2012

I am a pro musician with most every kind of keyboard stand (X, Z, Platform). The KS7150 is my latest addition. I bought this as an addition (option) for playing live. Generally I stand while playing and find the Z stands very easy to use, light weight and sturdy. The KS7150 is heavier than expected. And, adding a second tier is uncertain. It says right on the shipping box you can add a second tier but, no professional sales person has yet to vali... Show More

Problem Solved!!!!!

Apr 28, 2011

hello, I have a Nord C1, a Nord Pedals 27 and a Nord Lead 2X, the problem was to find a proper solution, I tried suggestions from online forums and nothing worked, I bought a Keyboard Stand that I still can't use, I did some research and found that Onstage had what I was looking for, the problem was that I could not find this solution at any of the local music stores, I found it at B&H Photo. So now I have a sturdy keyboard stand that fits my Nor... Show More

Very portable, folds compact

May 31, 2010

Bought this to hold my Studiologic hammer action (ie. heavy) 88 key controller. Luckily, the rubber feet of the keyboard fit nicely into the slots of the stand. This, and the included thin rubber adhesive pads added to stability. Quality is just so-so, due to the footing arrangement (bolts which are capped off with rubber feet) but with some tweaking it ought to work out well for most applications. Adjustable from width perspective and allows for... Show More

Hallelujah - what stands should be!

Jan 7, 2012

I have a mid-size electric keyboard and every other stand I've ever had was a nightmare to transport and assemble and adjust, etc. With this one, you just take it out of the box, adjust the length to what you need by sliding it out, fold out the legs to the sides, and you're done. It's a good, stable stand and considerably more attractive than the usual X-brace style stands out there too. I don't know why this is the only keyboard stand I've ever... Show More

Much better than the cheap X-frame that everyone has

Mar 9, 2017

I wanted a stand that looked a bit classy and not cheap looking like a regular X-strand, but above all I wanted a stand that had enough space for my legs and my pedals. With some adjustments, I was able to get it nice level where I wanted it to be. Can sometimes be a bit wabbly if you don't tighten the legs enough, but all in all it's definitely tough and much better looking, as mentioned, than the regular stands. It really makes my keyboard look great on it. Don't be like everyone else, buy this one instead of the cheap X-frames.

great stand!

May 31, 2010

I got this stand for use with a nord electro 3 and couldn't be happier. Having 4 legs means I can put my sustain and swell pedals under the board where they belong without the stand getting in the way. Also, this stand works well on uneven surfaces. All this is why I got this stand. What I didn't expect was that it folds down flat and much smaller than other stand types, which allows me to put it into a gig bag. Now, I can roll to the gig with two gigbags instead of having to carry an unwieldy stand. I can go on my bike. Nice!

Light, Sturdy Stand

Apr 13, 2016

This is the stand I bring when I'm only using one keyboard. It's strong and sturdy, with no bounce. Foot space is wide open for pedals. Folds flat. You can attach either a second tier or a mic boom, but not both. I use the boom. I do wish there were more leg extension increments to choose from. Perhaps smaller holes to preserve integrity, and stronger wingnuts. Can also be used for amp racks, mixers & laptops, or even just to use around the garage. I now own 4 of them.

Great Stand for the Price!

Jan 14, 2017

Sturdy and perfect fit for my YPG-235 keyboard. No wobbling on carpet and so much better than X stands, for my stationary situation, might not like it if I had to transport and set it up at a gig, was a little tricky to set the legs with the knobs due to indention rather than holes in the legs, but I'm an elderly lady, might not be so tricky for a man. I am very happy overall and it was packaged very well and arrived on time. Would definitely purchase again.

my knees thank you

Apr 12, 2011

I've been using the cross bar stand since I got my keyboard and playing the piano I would always bump my knees or have to sit in a very interesting position. My legs now fit comfortably under the keyboard and I can play for longer periods of time. It isn't perfect, it is a bit unstable but simply putting it up against a wall fixes that.

Perfect for my Hammond XK-1c

Aug 17, 2016

I bought this product to use on stage for our annual Camp-Meeting. The X shaped stands were too unstable. I use this for my Hammond XK-1c and, since I always sit to play, the only adjustment needed was the length and 1 leg leveler. Very Simple set-up, and very solid. A friend of mine was so impressed that he is going to order one also.

Extremely Adaptable

Jul 29, 2013

Height and width are adjustable in this versatile stand for stage or studio. It is sturdy, and does not rock excessively. The height do front and back legs can be adjusted independently, allowing me to mount my harpejji titled either forward or back. It's also a great value.
