Pain Relief
If any of you spend 8 to 12 hours a day editing or using any of the Adobe Creative Cloud programs, you know how fatiguing a mouse in your hand all day can be. I was using the Logitech MX Master, which is a superb mouse. The only reason for the switch to this vertical mouse was because the area of my hand around the index and middle finger joints began to ache, constantly. As soon as I used the vertical mouse, the pain subsided. This mouse feels ... Show More

Never going back to a regular mouse.
I have always used an Apple Magic Mouse. I also have used other mice at workstations from time to time. Never have I ever had a mouse fit so perfectly for my hand. Its just a natural feeling. Every other mouse now feels foreign and difficult after getting use to this mouse. I do miss some gestures from the Apple Magic mouse, but you can map the additional 3 buttons on the MX Vertical to do whatever you want. If your looking for a great mouse, you can stop your search here. :)

An Arthritic Users Viewpoint
The mouse is more comfortable for me than the MX 705 (conventional) mouse that it replaced. I guess my hands are larger than expected by the designers because the forward and back buttons (programmable) fall behind my thumb tip. The adjustable tracking speed is very nice despite being quite twitchy to set. Precision tracking is very nice whenusing Photoshop or Lightroom. Thosewho use multiple screens will appreciate that it is FLOW compatible. Is the hefty price worth it? For this arthritic user (8-12 hrs/day) it very much is worth the extra $30 or so.

Nothing to write home about
The think works well, but the angle that is supposed to be a fabulous reduction of strain on your wrist is noy really a big deal. I will keep mine because is can serve as a good backup if my current mouse fails, but it's probably not worth the $99 when there are so many other choices available. The one great thing is that it frees up a USB port on my computer because my keyboard is also Logitech, and both products (keyboard and mouse) run well with only one hoosy-wattsis plugged into a single USB port.

I was skeptical...
I've tried several ergonomic input devices over the years and all were a huge productivity compromise versus traditional devices. The MX was on back order for a while so I had lots of time to prepare myself to be disappointed. Once it arrived though I discovered there was no "get used to it" time required as it just works and works well (both Bluetooth and with the unifying receiver). I'm now a big fan

Equivalent items available at 1/10th of the cost
Missing some of the features of Logitech's higher end mice despite the high end price tag. For example, the "Premium Scroll Wheel" is just a scroll wheel- it does not automatically unlock like the Performance MX. There's absolutely nothing special about this mouse and I actually prefer my Sharkk vertical mouse which was 1/10th the price. Used for less than a minute before I started an RMA.
