Just what I expected
This 4k monitor is everything I wanted it to be at that price point. Excellent brightness all across the screen, and sharp colors. It's great for watching videos and photo editing. I was deciding between this and the HP Z27. The reason I chose LG is because of the built in speakers and the USB-c to USB-c cable included.

Excellent mid-size screen
I use this monitor for editing and photography. It is sharp, has good color resolution and works well with my mac. Easy minimal assembly of the stand and easy set up. The first one delivered was defective out of the box. After I spoke with LG and Apple I asked BH to replace it. They were great! A replacement was on the way with next day service.

Gorgeous display for a modern workstation
I have owned LG displays in the past so I did not hesitate to jump on this monitor when it was on sale... I was not disappointed! Adding an eGPU was essential to my Mac Mini workstation but after I enabled the dedicated GPU and running at 4K 60Hz, I can definitely say this feels like a high end workstation.
