iFi AUDIO xCAN Portable Headphone Amplifier with Bluetooth

Nice little amp

I bought this to drive a pair of Sennheiser HD6XX with my Sony NW-ZX300 as well as some planned future magnetic planars. The ZX300 in high gain balanced out could get loud but lacked the power to really push the 300 ohm Senns. I received the XCAN today after lots of procrastination. So now Im set up balanced out to balanced in (4.4 to 2.5) and then balanced out to HPs. The ZX300 is set to high gain and all the way to 120. The xcan starts to drive... Show More these well a few clicks past red. I can actually physically feel the bass for the first time. Ill probably grab the iematch 2.5 next as for my ears it seems the volume needs to get too loud to get enough power. I still feel these cans could use some more power and will probably grab a iDSD Micro BL as a home driver next but this little one is great for on the go. Its about 2/3 the size of my already very pocketable ZX300.Show Less
