Original HP is always the best. But... do we need 2X packs? Yes we do because they made the printers smaller than before. So instead of a big printer with a big cartridge we buy a small one with a 2X package. And we pay more because each has its own box and plastic container. progress is not always good. I love my little LaserJet Pro Printer. It's great for my light duty use. These 85A dual packs are the best buy and they last. The number of printed pages per cartridge is usually a little less than published but still a good deal. Not for photo prints but very good for daily document printing. Do NOT have to worry about the toner deteriorating over time like inkjet cartridges.

Expensive, unless you shop for the deals like I did here at B&H, and then I got a really good deal - much better than you would at a local store. And, these work! I use good paper, and I don't get paper jams. The toner comes with a new fuser as part of the cartridge so each new cartridge starts you off with crisp clean text, and I get about 2000-3000 sheets at home per cartridge.
