Enjoy the ride
I will start by writing that the Grado SR125e Headphones are excellent for the price. They're clear, smooth, balanced and have a punchy low end. I would say 95% of the material (music/genres) I listened to on the Grados sounded great, even straight from the iphone via Apple music. I heard details in the music that I never heard before when using the standard cr-Apple in-ears. However, with certain music, you can start to hear its limitations. As ... Show More

I love these headphones, 2x Customer
I use these for my home studio and bought them to replace my 30 year old Grado SR80's! Grado has made great headphones forever! These are open backed headphones (you can google the difference) so they don't block out ambient noise the way closed backed headphones do but they sound very natural. Some things to be aware of: The cable on the SR125e is twice as thick as my old SR80s and adds a bit of downward weight to the headphones. However the thi... Show More

Great quality!
I had the grado 60s before and one of the speakers popped. I like grados quality so I did some research and this one seemed to fit. Amazing quality. They are open ear, so its best to be in a quiet room when you use them if not you'll have to crank the volume and you may still hear the background noise.

great seperation
when i put these on, i didt have a clue that the seperation of instruments where so clear. some reviewers complained that they made their ears to warm, they do but you get passed it, from listening to your music, after listening you dont even notice it.

Great sound and good price.
I listen to music of many types on a laptop, iPad, and iPod. These headphones sound great which I appreciate when listening to music in lossless format. I'm very pleased to get this quality at this price. My biggest con is that the chord is very stiff.

Pure Grado... No frills...
I already have the Grado SR 225 e headphones, and the SR125 e's surprised me... Voiced just a shade differently, but pure Grado sound... Use both for evaluating my recordings... Like them much better than supposedly flat "pro" headphones...

Just fantastic...
I have the M40X by Audio Technica, and those are very flat... As for the Grados 125's the sound is very pure, something very distinct and amazing above all I have listened to... Love them!!!
