Great cage for A7s ii
I like the functionality of this cage. It's solid and has everything I need. The only issue I had was that the base of the handle assembly had a slight machining error and it wouldn't slide into the groove in the cage. It looked like it got dropped or hit while it was being manufactured so it had a slight protrusion of metal blocking its entry. For DSLR, its okay
My Canon 6D fit well inside the cage, and it's pretty easy to connect everything together. The problem I have with this cage is the cold shoe mount on the top handle is screwed in with 4 tiny screws that can't seem to hold my 7 inch SmallHD monitor. Good Quality/Easy Assembly
This guy is my first rig. It's fairly light. Works well with my 5D Mark III as far as accessing the battery. It's a little awkward trying to slip out the door for the SD/CF card slots. Camera easily slides out. The HDMI lock does get in the way of connecting an AUX cable into the mic jack. I use this to record from my Tascam into my 5D. There's very little hassle adjusting any other parts of this. So far so good and looking forward to shooting with it.

Cage Rig Kit
Im elated by the versatility and ease of use of the Cage Rig with my camera and accessories. Mounting my iPhone to remotely view and control the camera functions was simple and effective. The shotgun mic fits on top of the cage. The slider mount is heavy duty and helps to stabilize the rig on the tripod. Now I will add a small LED light for fill-in.

great piece of equipment but lacks some more work.
Best thing about this rig is the construction. Easy to use. Although not very happy with the Matte box barn doors, seem to not tighten in place. The cable holder meant to hold the cables so they don't break really does not work well. Needs more space to fit all three cables like the mic, headphone and the HMDi cable. Otherwise love using it.

Useless Item!
The Camera Plate is larger than the standard and will not hold a Sony Alpha nor a Metabones. The distance between the Rods is 45mm which makes it useless since the standard is 60mm. . . . This was a waste of money and BH has not taken responsibility for this. I want my money back and a product I can use.

Usless Item
This is a useless item. The camera plate will not screw all the way on a Metabones, nor Sony a7S ii. The screw is larger than standard. Also the rods are 45mm one from the other . . . which makes it useless. I want my money back and B&H has not taken responsability. This is affecting my production.

Awesome product
I bought this cage after buying a poorly designed one on Amazon. This cage is everything I needed and it is easy to use. I like the fact there are multiple places to mount all of my accessories. The cage is also built really well and feels sturdy. Very pleased with this purchase!

Great cage for a Sony A7 body
Im using this with a Sony A7Sii and it works beautifully, the follow focus is smooth, the clamps and hardware feel nice and work well, filters work well in the matte box, which also does a great job of eliminating light leaks, great overall value!

Great cage rig
I use it with the Sony a7s and love it. Nothing to complain about. Only the HDMI locking mechanism doesn't fit perfectly so I just took it out. Battery door is easily accessible all the time.

ZBTL01 DSLR Cage Rig Kit for /Sony a7S/
Great bang for the buck. For the other units in higher costs bracket the CAME-TV cage is a well built and designed unit. It has room for DSLR add on's, and is very durable and lightweight.
