Great Monitor!
I'm really in love with the Asus MX299Q. I'm a blogger and web designer, so I often work in more than one program at the same time. It's really helped with my productivity to have two programs open, side by side, at the same time. It's like having a dual monitor, but with only one monitor. Colors are sharp and very bright. Fantastic Monitor
This is a superb monitor that delivers great visuals and very good stereo sound from it's small 3 speakers. the wide screen format allows placing numerous open windows at the same time without crowding and widescreen movies look fantastic on this LED screen. My only criticism would be the placement of the monitor controls - they are on the bottom of the right hand side of the screen, which is right where you would put your hand in adjusting the position of the monitor (this is why I gave it four stars instead of five).

Does what it should
I've used this for several months since I work remotely. The monitor is on throughout the day while I work and sometimes at night for recreational use.I've had zero problems with it. It works exactly as expected.In my case, I need a single monitor that could support one large RDP maximized window. This did the trick and allowed me to feel like I still had dual monitors (as I did at work).

Outstanding performance.
Hi resolution, outstanding performance, incredible color, integrates ideally with laptop running Windows 8.1 and the design of the unit is beautiful. Highly recommend.
