I bought this ipad for the specific purpose of drawing on it while Im traveling.....it beats lugging around a 50 pound hard case with my cintiq. Excellent screen, fast, light
The iPad 12.9 is really as close to desktop power for the normal user as it can get. My only wish would be a keyboard available with large trackpad as on a MacBook. Or even better, this iPad display as the turnable, detachable display of a MacBook Pro running both MacOS and iOS. Sound, color and resolution on this iPad are perfect. Quality feel. Its a little lighter than my 2nd generation which makes a difference. The thin bezels are an improvement. The faceid works flawlessly in a well lit room. You have to turn towards a light source to help it but that hasnt really been a problem. I use it mostly for sheet music sight reading which is a huge improvement over paper. The new ipad is amazing. It is lightening fast and the apple pencil fits seamlessly with the device while charging and easily attaches to the side in a pinch when needing to use touch to navigate the ipad. I did get the otterbox symmetry case for it because it is very thin and I dont want to take a chance of it bending on me, and that case is really nice and secure without being clunky. Expensive- But worth Every Penny!!!
The iPad Pro 12.9 is simply the best-in-class tablet device. The screen is beautiful, it is crazy fast, and the apps are excellent. Since I store my files on iCloud, integration is seemless: documents that I annotate appear on my computer within seconds after changing them. So it is not a laptop replacement for me, but I used it almost as much as I use my laptop. Regarding cost: yes , it is expensive. But over its lifetime it will more than justify the expense for me. And, like all Apple products, they are built to last (I still use a 2012 MacBook Pro) and they retain their resell value.

So Great: With Brilliant Color, Speed, Versatility
After trying one I decided this great iPad would win out over a new iPhone XMax. As a lover of photographic images from my iPhone and Canon, this portrays them so beautifully. I like to share these images in person so I hear the wow word frequently. Within the first few days I shared a website with a small group using the USB-C to Digital AV TO HDMI and a large TV. So easy. I plan to use the folio KEYBOARD which arrives today. It was on backorder. Although expensive, I am glad I purchased the 12.9.

Best Tablet Ive Ever Used
I primarily use this tablet for work presentations in front of clients as well as reading books. The screen is incredible with a very thin bezel which makes the viewing/presentation experience great. The screen is crisp and clear. Ive read over a thousand pages of PDFs on this tablet already and the screen does not hurt my eyes. I do, however, adjust the brightness lower for reading and higher for presentations. Ultimately, I highly recommend. 10/10

GREATEST TABLET EVER
Having been an Android user [Galaxy Tab s3] I was impressed by how smooth the Apple system is - far superior to Android. Moving my Google data to IOS was simple. The size and quality of the display is amazing. Adopting usb-c is a positive Only downside would be the relatively low power [12 watt] charger module] which is easily corrected by purchasing a more powerful one. I would recommend a 30 watt one which allows for fast charging.

iPad Pro
Works great with Apple Pencil (2nd generation) for pressure sensitive drawing/painting. Fabulous for anyone who likes to draw/paint. There are many drawing applications. I currently use Tayasui Sketches available from the App Store. I love that you can rest the palm of your hand on the iPad's screen (without interference) while making detailed drawings, just like you might do with pencil and paper.

A very worthy upgrade from the original IPad Pro 12.9
I had the original IPad Pro 12.9 for the last 3 years. I used every day. The new IPad Pro 12.9 is lighter and thinner and feels much more comfortable to hold then the old model. Apple made the bezel a little smaller so its almost all screen. This model is noticeably faster then the the old model also. So if you have the old IPad Pro 12.9 its definitely worth the upgrade,you wont be disappointed.
