VF problem
already had a prior model, RXII, and like it both for image quality and efficient size. Was looking forward to this upgrade, and especially the VF. sadly, I returned it because with glasses, the VF is worthless. I recommend this well engineered camera for anyone without corrective eye ware.

Big Issue with this camera
There is a big issue with this camera and Sony should not have released this product! After recording one movie clip in 4K of 5 min and trying to record another clip the camera overheats and auto shuts down. This is unacceptable. You then have to wait a few min for the camera to cool down before you can record in 4K again. I own many 4K camera's and none have this issue. I am very dissapointed with this product and going to return it for a refund.

I am personally not as focused on 4K, super high shutter speed and frame rate and the other advantages of the extreme speed of the new sensor system. So n... Show More

So far so good
I've had the m2 for several years as a take along cam to supplement a Panasonic GH4. I've been anxiously awaiting the new Sony with 4K to match my GH4 movies. The new Sony is a pleasure to use. Slog2 needs practice to expose correctly, I haven't tried playing around with coloring yet. Cine 1 allows native ISO use and captures a flat image with preserved highlights so this may work nicely for correction. 4k capture is crystal clear, details is cle... Show More
