Sony Alpha a6000 Mirrorless Digital Camera with 16-50mm and 55-210mm Lenses (Black)
Get This Camera!!!
Nikon shooter for 30+ years. Bodies, lenses...pounds of gear. Mirrorless is changing who I am as a photographer. Quit reading the reviews, get your hands on the a6000 and get out there--the image quality is stunning (battery life not so much, so get an extra battery). Repeat: the image quality is stunning!

Excellent as advertised
This camera is so light and compact compared to my DSLR that I now pick it up first. It takes great photos, but I would like a greater lens selection. Also, Sony provides essentially no documentation with the camera. Since it is a complex device it takes some time to become familiar with the may functions.

Use for time-lapses only
I have two of the best sony cameras the Sony a7R III and the latest a7 III, the reason I bought this one is to do time-lapses which requires a lot of photos in order to create the videos, I dont want to put all those high shutter counts in my other cameras so this one is perfect for 4K video time-lapses.

Packs a lot of punch
Wanted a smaller camera than my DSLR that packed the most features with an affordable price. A major factor for me was a traditional viewfinder in addition to the LCD screen, which was a reason I went with Sony vs FujiFilm. The ease of use for the features, WiFi, and included lens are all great features.

Pretty good but not perfect
Used as a miscellaneous camera (hiking and family events). I'm not too thrilled with the power zoom kit lens but sharpness is comparable to a Canon kit lens. Lack of an external mic jack could be an issue. Be sure to get a separate battery charger since included charger uses the camera and is very slow.

Lighten the Load
I was looking for a small camera to carry when I don't want to carry the heavy Nikons, this camera fit the bill. The fact that there are adapters to use My arsenal of Nikon lenses made it even more likeable. I gave 4 stars as it eats batteries, but I think that is an issue with most mirrorless cameras.

Affordable beast!
Right out of the box with this kit lens you can get a variety of shots... Ranging from portraits to landscapes with the 16-50mm focal length. With 24.3 mp on an aps-c sensor, this is an affordable beast! This is my first camera purchase, so I'm still learning, but it seems mirrorless is the way to go.

Wow
I do a lot of travel and this product was great. It arrived the day before I left on a two week trip to Europe. I was able to learn how to use the basics instinctively. Just wish the enclosed manual was more than how to insert a battery and memory card. I will be using this camera every time I travel.

Great Product
We had bought this camera with an intent to use it immediately for a trip and it did not disappoint us. We still have not had a chance to explore the entire feature set, but our experience so far has been wonderful. The low light picture quality is fantastic and we are really happy with our purchase.

Flexible, high-quality camera for a reas
I use the A6000 for family photos, videos fo musical performances and fan photos of the Washington Nationals. I am still getting used to the EVF. I miss the speed and sharpness of my Canon 7D Mk II. It is a trade-off for all of the other great features. Noteworthy are the great E-Series Tessar lenses.

Love, love, love this camera
I just got this camera because I wanted something smaller & lighter. Not only does this fit the bill, but it takes BEAUTIFUL pictures. The focus is super fast and right out of the box, I got some awesome pictures. I didn't get either kit lens but opted for the 18-105/f4 and so far, this lens is great

Goldilocks Was Right!
I bought the a6000 to replace a point and shoot camera and a Nikon D60. So far the camera fits the bill nicely. Easy to figure out, high quality pictures and easy to change lenses. The WiFi connection to my iPhone was very easy to set up, the WiFi to a computer, not so much. The manual is terrible.

Fun Camera
I bought the a6000 for an affordable larger sensor camera. The menus take a long time get through, I wish there were more manual controls. The lens is good but not the highest resolving. I plan on purchasing a few primes and one more zoom. For now, though, I like it and enjoy learning the system.

Excellent
Very please with this camera. First used to shoot rugby tournament. With the Sony E Mount full frame 70-200 zoom the results were excellent. Fast autofocus. Shot at Iso 400 with little or no noise. The menus are quite similar to the A7R which I also have which makes switching back and forth easy.

Great first mirrorless camera!
Really enjoying this camera. The camera is very well made and has almost all the functionality I would want. I love the size and weight, button layout, menus etc. My only complaints are lack of touch screen and the kit lens could be better (but that's to be expected I guess). Video is excellent.

Exceptional Camera!
Love this Camera. I recently moved from my A77 to this smaller system and all I can say is, glad I did. So small and compact with the capacity to get amazing shots. Best feature I like is the ability to charge from USB. USB charging makes camping and long day hikes a breeze to use and recharge.

It's a beast!
This is a great camera. I don't like to lug my 5DM3 around for more casual/family shoots so this camera is perfect. Very easy learning curve. Friendly menus and customizable buttons. Super fun to use! Make to to get an extra battery though as the battery life is rather short compared to DSLRs.

No battery charger included?!
This may turn out to be a great camera bundle but I am shocked that there was not a battery charger included in the box! The instruction manual does list a battery charger as something that should be included in the box. I think it is crazy to sell a camera without including a battery charger!

Very Nice Sony A6000
I had rented the Sony A6000 to try it out and was very happy with it. So, when a 2015 deal came, I couldn't resist. I love the camera. It takes great photos and I especially like the ability to shoot in low light. The camera is lightweight, so I don't have to lug a huge heavy camera around.

Did not dissapoint
I was looking for a camera that was small and light weight that would take great pictures for backpacking. I was blown away! If youre a packer, I don't think you could do better. Ive had beautiful, crisp, colorful 20X30 enlargements out of this camera. Could go bigger if I had a bigger wall!

Great Camera!!
I am a novice photographer and took this guy out to SLC Utah. The shots I got were unbelievable. Shooting raw in manual, I was able to get the most beautiful shots. So beautiful in fact, that a professional photographer actually commented on it and appreciated its beauty. Highly recommend.

Love this camera
I purchased this camera for my honeymoon to Fiji and New Zealand. The pictures that it took were amazing! Incredibly fast shutter speed, auto focus, and 11 pics per second helped capture the immense beauty of the country! It takes awesome portraits as well!! It's also very easy to use.
