The perfect replacemet
Sennheiser original earpads. I am sure they will weather several more years of daily use like their original brothers. Now my back up HD201's are just like new, except for the original headband. Thanks for carrying them!

Poorer quality than the originals
I bought these as replacements as the vinyl on the originals had disintegrated. These new ones don't attach in the same way to the flange that clips onto the headphone cups. You have to glue these and they feel cheap and insubstantial compared wuth the originals.

Not the same
Although are marketed as fitting the HD212 headphones they only do so if you glue them. The original cushions had a pocket type arrangement and gripped the plastic base plate which could then be clipped onto and off the main headphone assembly.These replacements do not have the pocket arrangement and have to be glued onto the base plate.
