Great for practice, but...

Great features for the price and includes power supply. My experience with it so far is that if you're near enough to the PA cabinet to hear yourself, you're better off that way. This was with a full band - bass (me), drums, acoustic, and electric guitars. Also, watch which output you pull from. I used the monitor out and, even with the on-board monitor knob at around 9 o'clock, was getting a distorted signal. I also wished for a little more gain... Show More for my mike; the mic knob was at around 4 o'clock but I could have used more output. Ultimately, this seems to best be used for practicing one's vocals or harmony parts at home, because in that situation you'll be able to hear yourself well enough to learn what you need. I'll try it in a duo situation with a top-line Bose setup. It may be better suited to that kind of live scenario. Otherwise, the unit is solid and well made, and I'm keeping it because it does excel at allowing me to effectively practice with music or tracks.Show Less
