This microphone came with a fairly sensitive element, an effective windscreen, mic clip, 12 foot of cable, and a storage bag. The bag is a bit small, but it is usable. As for the jack, it is a TRRS made for mobile devices, utilizing the second ring and the sleeve for the audio. Great improvement in sound!!!
I do instructional videos online. I record videos to my iphone and before I purchased this mic was using the built in mic on the iphone. What an improvement!!!! This mic has a clear natural sound and significantly improves my recording. I like the fact that it has a long cable so I can record video from a distance and still have quality audio. I suggest picking up a few extra foam windscreens (These things get lost). Outdoors I use it with a fuzzy windbuster and had no issue with moderate wind. This was a great investment!

Good sound, only for mobile devices
The sound that the mic gets is pretty good, though we've had challenges with calibrating the volume. It IS plug and play with mobile devices, and for the ease of use, we're willing to trade some of the manual abilities we might get with other mics. We do wish that we could use it also on non-mobile audio recorders, but it won't record on our Tascam portable handheld audio recorder.

Very good microphone, perfect fit
I use it to make professional video, and short self taped videos. I choose to record with a smartphone for convenience, and it does the job perfectly. Note that it might be a little sensitive for the iphone's voice recorder. I downloaded another recording app, and the level is perfect. Perfect level on my android device as well. I highly recommend this mic!

Good product for what it is
I have only tested this product. For the most part it works as advertiesd. I wish the pick-up area was a little smaller. I got some room noise when recording with the mic. It is not beyond fixing. I also did not like how I could not set record volume somehow. I guess one would have to set them in the app you are using. Over all good product.

Works Well - Very Happy
I used this with my iPad mini. Plugged it in and it was good to go. I have to stand quite far away from my iPad, so it allows me to have good audio at a distance. For the very inexpensive price I didn't expect much, so it exceeded my expectations. I have already recommended it to a friend.

Works fine
This lavalier mic can go under clothing while recording and it will not create a brushing sound. No need to purchase covers for it. When recording from the cell phone, always use a lavalier like this to prevent room echo. The phone's sound system picks up echos that our ears do not hear.

No Discernible Improvement
I will be returning mine. I did not hear a discernible improvement of audio quality when doing smartphone selfies with a monopod stick. I originally had the Rode lavaliere for smartphones, but somehow it did not work at all on my Nokia model. This one did work, but made no improvement.

You get what you pay for.
Not bad as long as you keep the mic away from your mouth, like away, even though this is supposed to be placed on your shirt, you need to keep it 2-3 feet away to get the best sound. or use a recorder that gives you the ability to control the audio input.

Works for I needed
It gives me better sound then the internal mics when I have to set up quickly in the field for spontaneous video and audio interview podcasts. What I wanted. It's not a $$$ lavalier, but there are no batteries to worry about and the cord is long enough.

Good buy
The cord is plenty long for a variety of shooting scenarios. This is a plug-in-and-go product, and I love the simplicity. It appears to be contsructed of good material that will last a good while. Good buy for the price!

Great product for use with smartphones
If you do audio recording with a IPHONE 6S or Samsung Galaxy 6S/6S Edge for video this kit is totally compatible and will greatly improve your sound quality at a reasonable price.

pretty good Mic
B&H Continues to have the best prices around, this mic definitely does the job, to me the quality isn't as good as the Rode lav mic but for the price it does a fine job.
