Worth it!
I just got this in and had it hooked up to my 5d mkiv. It works and sounds great right into the camera. You can't beat it for the price. I'm assuming the included battery is to give it some power as I noticed I only had to have the in camera audio at +6. I didn't hear any noise at this level and the mics sounded pretty good. It comes with all your needed accessories and fits into the included pouch. There is a bit of wires in this set so it would... Show More

Works great
I have the dual version and later found this single version. If you need two mics get the dual. I do not always need the dual capabilities so I did not like that I always had to have both mics active. This solves that for me. At the same levels the single mic has a slight advantage in sound quality too. That's to be expected as they are splitting the signal with the dual system. I have wireless systems but this is great for anyone looking for an ... Show More

Worked with a small Sony recorder
Worked with a Sony Digital Voice Recorder, ICD-PX370. The audio quality seemed fine. But I am not an Audio tech. who is super careful or technical with sound. I use it as a backup mic. and recorder combo on my subject in case my wireless system fails me or gets RF hits. If any of my editors tells me its horrible after being forced to use this audio track, I will update this review. The cable is very long. Probably in the 6 to 9 ft length. It came with a tie clip and a 1/4 to 1/8 adapter, and an extra battery, and a small bag.

Love the super long cord!
I am just getting in to making iMovies for work and struggled using one with a 6' cord. This is a very reasonably priced microphone with a long cord - longer than you will likely need! It comes with an extra battery which is nice. I did have to flip the battery that comes in it around, so it would work. I assume it comes like that so that it doesn't drain the battery before it is used. I would recommend this product and thanks for the quick shipping!

Works great, sounds great
This is a cool product. I got it to work on my GoPro, but ended up using it on my phone and camera. The cord is really long. Most of the time it turns to spaghetti, so I keep it rolled on a spool which seems to solve the problem. My big hope was that it would not crackle and pop in the wind since that is the huge big problem in West Texas. I was not disappointed. Works well with my D-850 also.

Great to have a long cord finally
Nicely constructed. Wow, I love the long cord. Comes with a spare battery - nice surprise. Hope I dont have to change it soon, however, as it sits in a funny spot inside the battery/switch capsule. Ive used it once. Sounds good, and a bit louder than my other lav mic. I bought two, so well see how that work for future projects, but you really cant go wrong with the price.

You get what you pay for
So... This was a good idea in theory, but unfortunately this $20 Lav sounds exactly like what it is, a $20 Lav. Super pitchy, and blown out sound. I pushed audio through my TasCam and still couldnt fix hissing and other issues. It was a quick buy in a rush because I needed sound, but at the end of the day, just invest in a proper Lav kit and save yourself the trouble.

Great option for vlogging
I looked at more expensive wireless systems before realizing that this wired lavalier mic was all I needed to get started with vlogging. Im using this with my Canon 5D Mark IV. The audio quality is great. It is very simple and easy to use. The cord is more than long enough for vlogging distances. Overall I am very happy with this little mic.

Wire length odd
Just wish wire length between microphones was longer than it is so two individuals could be further apart. Overall length of wire is excellent and allows for good distance between camera and interviewees, but Id like greater distance between interviewees. Sounds clean and has a nice range of frequencies in the sound.

its not posible turn off one of the mics
i liked the mic but i get a little bit frustrated because it`s not possible to use only one mic... i thought that i could choose if i would use the two mics, or only one, depending on my needs. But it`s not possible use just one mic - and let the other off, so, i suggest you check if this is what you really want.

Affordable solution
Needed a quick and affordable microphone for field interviews when in too much of a rush to set up adapter w/XLR kit. This is it - good quality audio. Only issue is the cord - nice that it's long enough to get away from talent/interview but oh my does it tangle. I can live with that though.

Great option
Nice for the price and really convenient. This one has a little bit better audio quality compared to the dual version but if you need the dual mics get that one. If not this is the way to go for a simple and quick set up

Better than my thought
I have the Rode lavalier and decide to give this a try. I bought four for a on-site interview. All four work great from beginning to the end. I live the super long cord making the wireless transmission unnecessary.

Not bad..
Cheap Lav Mic good for a pinch nothing amazing but is decent enough. Could use a small tone boost. Crisp sound when recording in close proximity. No popping problems.
