Good Product, room for improvement.
Decent build quality with smooth pots that don't sound scratchy when adjusting the volume. There are 3 issues that I had with this product that I hope the manufacturer will take note of. 1: The supplied power adapter only runs on 110v. It was a good thing I caught that or I would have destroyed my device (220v). 2: The DC connector is wired center pin negative. This is opposite from most popular power sources. 3: No power switch. Excellent monitoring solution
Really pleased with the PolsenHPA-4X2 headphone amp. I previously used a hideous & unreliable system of daisy-chained splitters to handle on-set monitoring, which is what this replaced. I chose this amp specifically because it came with four 1/8 to 1/4 adapters, so I would be ready to go out of the box. Really pleased with the build quality & performance-- the separate volume knobs are nicely done, and I'm happy with the sound quality on each channel. I'd definitely recommend this for anyone looking for on-set monitoring or separate volume control

Sound Quality not as good as I expected
While the construction of this Stereo 4 Channel Headphone Amp is really solid, and every connection well labeled, the sound quality is very much below my expectations. Bypassing the unit, the sound quality of several headphones that I have used is much better than when using the amplifier. The only conclusion one can draw is that the amplifier is altering the sound negatively, which is disappointing.

Basic, but functional...
Surprisingly good for the money, with the Aphex 4 channel headphone amp being the reference for this type of unit... Gives good gain, durable, has separate stereo op-amp for each channel... Very little not to like here, and if you have any of the current crop of affordable DAW interfaces, you know you only get one headphone output... Just buy it... You can always use it in your kit... Totally Portable HP Amplifier
Love this thing. I use it for recording my podcast interviews when I have multiple guest. Love the fact that they can control their headphone volume, it takes up very little space and the fact that all of the adapters were included. Never heard of Polsen before HP and can't find this item anywhere else but I like. I plug it into the mic input of my microphone preamp and it works perfectly.

A very useful device
This is why I needed this product: My wife and I often listen to the same (ambient) music but we have different levels of sound tolerance. Now she can mute it, while I have the volume pretty high. This little device makes everybody happy in our household. I didn't know what to expect before I purchased it, but it really is a useful little thing.

great way to boost signal
Works perfectly. I needed a way to boost the audio signal on my video for a noisy exhibition. Even after boosting my gain and adjusting the volume on the audio, the audio still couldn't be heard when there was a crowd. The Polsen solved that in one easy step. No distortion, very easy to install. handles multiple sets of headphones at once.

Solid headphone amplifier
The Polsen HPA-4X2 4- is a basic but solid amplifier. I use it to monitor audio during video editing and it has no lag or latency.I have not perceived any noise or rumble either.If you need to boost your audio signal, from a stereo RCA or a 1/4" TRSsource, for monitoring, this is it. The various mini-plugs that come with it are handy.

Handy dandy
This is a handy dandy item at a good price. I'm a videographer and sometimes more than 1 person needs to listen to the audio as it is being captured. The solution is this headphone amp/splitter. Also comes with adapters so if your headphone has an 1/8 or 1/4 connector, you are in business. Individual volume pots are a nice feature.

Great headphone amp.
I haven't driven more than one set of phones as yet. Very low noise at max volume. lots of level to work with. Like the stereo/mono capabilities. Would love to see 2 TRS balanced audio ins along with the 2 RCA ins instead of it's current configuration. All in all, it's a great buy.

Plenty of volume
I use this to power headphones for an elderly person to use for listening to TV broadcasts. The volume is more than enough even though she has a substantial hearing loss. It is also quiet (no hiss) with good fidelity and easy to setup and use.

Classy Little HP Amp
I use this as a Headphone Amp for VO work and its super. Small footprint, clean and crisp output, nice varied options come with it for hookups... well designed and user friendly. Great price for what looks like a classy little unit.

Awesome addition to my in home studio

Just the ticket.
Using it for a TV without a headphone jack or volume control using a RCA cable Y-adapter. Works well. No complaints.
