Great for video recording.
First, this mic was recommended by B&H staff and it was a great recommendation. This mic has great 360 degree pic up and does not sound tinny or have an echo for voices that are within a reasonable distance. I use it with a 20 ft cable to get closer to the action. It is a great addition for video recording, and much better than the shotgun mics I tried before this one was recommended.

Excellentr and Essential !
If you get in the habit of using an OMNIDIRECTIONAL mic for handheld interviews, you will eventually realize that many, many interviews are saved from the awful off-mic level dropout that very often occurs wirh any handheld cardiod or unidirectional style mic.

Nice head
This mic works well with my cameras. I have 3 different brands of cameras, and it work well with all of them. Could have been a tad longer, It is a little short when putting a mic flag on it.
