While I didn't have particularly high expectations for a plastic wireless lav system running on 9V batteries, a large (but simple) production last year forced me to go with more affordable lav systems as I needed 2+ to be used simultaneously. Great setup especially for the money!!!!
Disclaimer: This is the first wireless mic for DSLR's that I have used..... so..... First thing is that I shoot Canon 7D's and they do not have a built in earphone output jack. This unit does have that and so monitoring audio output is now possible with the 7D using this unit. It even comes with a set of earbuds!!! Surprising Sound for Inexpensive Wireless
I have used more expensive diversity reception wireless mics. and know what a problem they can be and I didn't expect much from this $139. system. Around power lines with noisy equipment, you have to make sure you have a quiet zone. But, I tried this system while I was doing an outside video recording along side the wired Polson OM-10 each in one ear and the sound qualities matched. The wireless was quiet with no dropouts. Works but barely
Bought this about a year ago. Worked ok on my first shoot but sucks up batteries like mad! In less than 20 minutes the sound dropped out! Had to put new 9v batteries in.Fortunately the reception unit has a 9v power input for external power but one more connection more wires and external battery. Also the quality of the little lavalier is awful (boxy voice sound) I have adapted an external 9v power source and a boom directional mike to make the system work. Aslo the mike module should have an earphone jack so the mike operator or speaker can hear whats going on. Otherwise the system works

Great product at an unbelievable price
I own 3 lav mics.The Sennheiser ew100 ($)The Polsen Cam-2W ($)And the Sony WCS-999 ($)I was disappointed in the Sony (noise floor and weak mic jack connection)But for $ more the Polsen shines! I have used it in tandem with the Sennheiser quite satisfactorily. They intercut well. Although it is SLIGHTLY more noisy than the Sennheiser, for $ less, it is adequate. And when editing with a music bed, or perhaps a slight tweak of a denoiser plugin (standard on most pro non-linear editors), it is hardly noticeable.Very pleased. Also glad it comes with a cold-shoe mount. The Sony did not.

Good value
They work just fine for my occasional use. They feel a bit cheap, because they are and that was my expectation. There is a little radio noise on them, relative to a professional set or a direct plug, but again at this price they perform quite nicely. However relative to using my shotgun mic or the on-camera mic, or even my digital audio recorder's built in mics, these deliver definitely superior voice. I'm happy to recommend them as long as you set your expectations appropriately. 3/4 the quality of items that cost 4x the price.

What you Expect, what you need.
This mic set is great for the price. Works how you expect it to no major issues with the exception of an occational buzz when the receiver or the subject moves. That being said its still much better than some more expensive older versions of the same technology I have used in the past. Love how it dose not have to record to a seprate device, being able record straight to the camera cuts out a lot of bull and makes things move a bit quicker. No clapper, no syncing tracks in post.

Unsuitable for Commercial Use
Great wireless for the price, but too much hiss and interference noise, coming in intermittently. Hiss can be fixed in post, but the random inteference noise is terrible. Also, the Audio Output does not work with my Zoom H6 nor Sony FS700. Tried using TRS adapter and TRS to XLR adapters but it does not work. Only the Microphone out works but there's too much hiss and interference. The Audio Out works only on my Samsung S7 handphone though.

Good entry level wiresless lav mic
This is an entry level wireless lapel mic, it works good indoors, I use it for interviews and the sound is decent, it has 2 channles to choose from, no more wire to deal with makes your shooting flow with more ease. contruction is ok, plastic, but for the price is a fair.

Works Perfect
For the money you can't get a better deal. I am a radio Technician and know communications. Signal quality and strength for general applications is great. My not be sound studio quality but to an average listener to the audio, its perfect.

Tested Great
I'm cautious with audio so I have only used the Polsen as a backup/sync audio source recording into the video track. I'm happy to report that the signal was perfect and it will someday be used as the prime source. Great price.

Quality sound for what I need

Great for Interviews
This mic is great for interviews with relatively close range or getting natural sound bites. I often clip it to myself when I'm filming landscapes and it's very light weight.

Great mic for the price
When listening through the receiver I though I was going to have to much noise in post. Noise was hardly there in post and was easy to clean up. Great mic for the price.

The product comes on, but does not transmit anything but static. Nothing else. No audible at all. Trying to return them.
