You WIll Be Happy
The lens is a good choice. Small and light for its range, and very good image quality. Offers in lens stabilization that mates with Lumix in body stabilization for Dual I.S. Got this for birding, and very happy. Light enough to take on hikes and handhold. There is a group on Flickr for this lens; you can see photos that used it.

Best value for money
Had been tracking this version II lens for some weeks. As soon as I received the 'in stock' alert, I placed the order and lo..the next minute, it went out of stock again! Mounted on my trusted, almost two-year old GH4 I got time only to do a one minute test on auto-focus aperture priority mode with Power OIS on. The results are impressive. The GH4-100-300 II combo is going to replace my Canon 7D-70-200 f2.8 II - 2x teleconverter combo during the vacations for sure. The attached pictures are untouched.

I would buy all over again, Super Lens
I just purchased the latest mk II version of this perennial favorite high power Panasonic LUMIX M4/3 lens, this is now my 3rd version of this leans and all 3 have been great and so much better than the Olympus competitor. I have had several M4/3 kits of gear and keep coming back, I adore many of the Panasonic Lenses but vastly prefer the Olympus bodies, the Olympus Pro lenses are great but very expensive and also much heavier. I highly recommend this lens especially if you want to shoot Wildlife, it has quality, power and portability.

Impressive sharpness in enthusiast lens.
Although I have not yet used this lens very much, I'm really enjoying it. It seems to have quite good build quality as well as clarity and sharpness. It's also rather fast for an enthusiast lens. I'm using this together with a Lumix G85. With Dual OIS turned on (in body and lens), I can get sharp results at 1/20th, handheld. The lens is also weather sealed. It actually mates tighter than the 12-60 kit lens with the o-ring at the mount. It feels like you get good bang for the buck, even though it's a bit more expensive than the predecessor.
