The power dual OIS is great with the GH5.
This takes an amazing footage/images and love it. If you are in the market for a great portrait lens, I highly suggest it. Not as great with video, but still worth it for portraits.

After trying three different 4/3 PORTRAIT lenses I choose the Lumix because it looks the best, feels the best and on my PEN F functions the best! I would certainly buy again.

Great all around lens
My new favorite lens. I got this to replace my Olympus 45mm 1.8 and I have no regrets. I love the image stabilization and the minimum focus distance. Great all around lens.

Lumix G 42.5
Great bright lens. I use it for shots of my kids. Love the F1.7 to separate them from the background. Physically compact. A little pricey, but definitely a quality lens.

Worth the money
Excellent lens for portraits and close ups. Used it to shoot a bridal shower; worked perfectly. Some chromatic aberration in backlit situations. Beautiful hokeh.

Amazing

Lightweight!

Very Good Lens, Great Add to a Camera
This Lens is really good and make the GX8 a good camera. I liked the switched to switch from AF to MF on the Lens indepedend from the settings of the camera

Sharp lens - beautiful bokeh
Nice solid feel, compact design, great bokeh wide open. Wonderful saturated tone but I find this lens with the GH3 tends to hunt for focus close up.

Great Lens
Very light, contrasty(sharp) and fast focusing. Equal to the Oly 45, but I chose this lens for the OIS and minimum focusing distance.
