Great camera
Easy to control, both manual and automatic setting work exactly as expected, picture quality is great. Color is similar to Sony cameras (not Canon). All in all a great buy.

Great intro camera

Awesome camera for the price
I mostly use it for filmmaking and it looks great. Great camera to start learning with. The kit lens is nice, too. Minimal noise at ISO 1600. Ive even pushed it to 3200 and the picture quality was still great. Granted, I was filming on a smartphone before and couldnt push my phone past 400, so in comparison, its night and day. Battery life kinda sucks when recording 4k. Other than that, im very happy

great value for the price
I'm just a beginner, so it's a learning curve for me. In any case, a great value for the money and pretty easy to use. Just requires a bit of patience in learning the basics. Manual is not so easy to follow (which is also online), but the many youtube tutorials are great. It takes great photos and videos. I had a little trouble working in a low light room (photo and video), but I think it's a matter of learning and using the flash properly.

I purchased this camera because it received good ratings. The intended use is for video. The video quality is great, even in low light. My biggest disappointment is that the lens is sticky and jerky when zooming. Also, the optical stabilization is limit so you have to be very still when shooting handheld. A motorized zoom that one can control using the remote app would have been better for my application.

Great Bang for the Buck (no headphone output)
I've been trying these out for Video II students- I think this camera (paired with a prime lens) provides a great value. We are recording audio to a separate device and synching in post. However, it would occasionally be handy to plug a mic directly into the camera- which you can do and set a level (via a menu)- but there is no headphone jack to monitor live- kind of a shame.

I have 3 G7s that I use pretty much exclusively for video. Im an audio professional just getting my feet wet in video and I do like these cameras very much. I find them extremely intuitive as well as flexible. The progressive shot video is a great feature - Im able to pull stills that are better than I would get from a pro still photographer. My Faavorite
After having used a Canon XF 105, JVC GY HM170, and a Canon T2i, this is by far the best looking, and easiest to use. 4k is so sharp, and color looks great. Battery life is surprisingly good. Would definitely recommend!

Best camera that I've used to get back on track in film.
This camera would be a great start up camera for beginners. It's very easy to use and has great video quality with the kit lens. The kit lens is very great and can get multiple projects done at a high rate. It's a very light camera also. This is a price you will not beat anywhere else. Standard Shipping was very quick.

This camera is one of the best cameras I have worked with, hands down. It's compact, lightweight and is easy to vlog with but still good enough to shoot pro grade footage. My only gripes with it are: the kit lens is pretty slow, so if you want a shallow depth of field you'll need an extra lens; The in built color profiles leave me lacking and means I have to grade my vlog footage (which i don't usually like doing) and the neck strap mounts on the... Empiezo a usarla y todavia aprendiendo pero creo que tiene de todo: la pantalla tactil y plegable ayuda muchisimo, los diales buena sensacion, la calidad de video es muy buena, la bateria normal, el tamao me la esperaba mas compacta, el envio fue rapido y la atencion a cliente excelente, todo bien excepto por un detalle, si van a pedir a mexico el costo de la aduana no esta incluido y vas a tener que pagar, y es un abuso obvio de parte de la aduana de mexico, el total fue de $3500 pesos (200 usd) para que la pueda sacar de dhl, termine pagando casi 800 usd por la camara en total.
