Broke on the 3rd year
The sound is flat compared to my sons Bose Beats Headphone which is ideal for my digital Piano. However, the right side of the Senal headphone stopped working. I have 2 very old Panasonic headphones and they still work today, 7 years and counting. I am thinking of getting a new set of headphones in the future but I doubt if Senal will make it to the list.

Excellent Product
These headphones are comfortable to wear and they cover the whole ear. The sound quality is excellent. A great value for the price.

Edwin
It sounds high I cannot tell weather the bass is in level or off. I need to hear the sound on a monitor.

GREAT...Except for one thing.
These sound great and are a terrific deal for the price. My only problem is the permanently fixed telephone cable: it can't be swapped out and it's far too long and clumsy to use for field shooting. Other than that, I would buy these again. I use 'em to hear my guitar when I practice!

Perfect All the Way Round!
I first got a pair of these for my wife as she's a Voice Actor and she loved how light weight and easy to work with they were. I decided to get my own pair, and love them so much more than the pair I had. They are very lightweight, comfortable to wear, with nice clean, clear sound, and I even got them on sale with free shipping! Can't ask for better. B&H is top notch when it comes to fast reliable shipping and quality customer service.

You get what you pay for.
These headphones look a lot like their more expensive cousins the 1000 model (which is a credible copy of the Sony MDR v6s). That's as far as it goes. The build quality isn't as good. They do not have the short straight cord and they do NOT sound anywhere near as good as the 1000s or the Sonys. Iphones will drive them. Do yourself a favor and get the better headphones. The 1000s are breathtaking. Many other headphones are breathtaking as well, but they don't sell for under 80 bucks.

SMH-500 Professional Studio Headphones
I use the SMH-500 Headphones for camera audio monitoring and within that environment, the SMH-500 performs rather well without coloring the audio. The SMH-500 offers a flat spectrum audio response so do not expect a lot of bass reproduction as they not designed for that purpose. My only reservation is that I find the SMH-500 not as sturdy as could be, however, a great tool for the money.

Fine
Seems fine although I haven't used them except to try it out to be sure they worked, which they do.

Would buy again, great product in this price range
I have read many mixed reviews on the SMH-500 for field and studio monitoring, but with my testing I think they are superb for the price. They block out a lot of unwanted noise compared to my AKG K44 headphones, which are in the same price range. They also provide me with much more detail that didn't even know were missing. The build quality is very decent on these, I take them around in my bag and they have not shown any problems with wear. The ... Show More

Good deal
sound is very clear. Very lightweight and comfortable. Build could be a little more robust but with care they should last a good while. Only thing I don't like is they were supposed to be over the ear style but they don't totally surround my ears like my Sennheisers.

Great deal
These are my go-to monitoring headphones. I'm not an audio pro, but I love the sound on these things and they've stood up to a good amount of travel and use.

They don't last long
T thin wires break near the ear pad swivel making one side stop working. They need a design change or heavier wire. I had the same problem with two pair. Save your money and get something different

A great product and quality. Worth buying it.
Very comfortable and high quality audio output. Great for production Sound Mixing as well as music, since the low frequency is slightly boosted.

Right side of headphone broke and no longer plays sound
After almost a year, the right side of the headphone stopped playing sound and only the left side works and still plays sound. I requested warranty from senal as per the three year limited warranty but they required me to pay for shipping back to their RMA center that costs almost as much as purchasing a new headset and refused to provide a shipping label. If I have to pay 16-20 bucks USPS priority mail just to get warranty service, I might as we... Show More

Good, Sub $100 Option for Run-n-Gun
An audio professional may have a different opinion. I'm a camera owner-operator and I purchased these for run-n-gun field work. My former pair was damaged in transit to NYC and I walked in to B&H and got these on the spot. They are light, inexpensive and comfortable. Sound quality is acceptable. I don't use expensive studio monitors for field work, because the higher likelihood of them getting damaged. These fit the bill perfectly. There is a dif... Show More

Great headphones!
Really good phones...especially for the price. I use them for some general listening, but mostly I'm using them while tracking acoustic instruments in my studio. Fairly long cable and a nice screw on 1/4 adaptor. These things are very efficient compared to the Audio Technia phones I've been using...much louder at the same volume. Comfortable too!

Great buy
Just used on JetBlue - able to connect to their sound system. Nice music as played from my computer. Quality as good as I want. See no need to spend the extra $$ for Bose

Great for studio and for field monitor use. Over the ear design eliminates most of the surrounding noise. Comfortable to wear for a couple of hours at a time. Excellent sound quality. Excellent headphones for the money.

Great value, blocks out outside audio
Great set of headphones. I use them in my studio at work, and love that they block out any outside noise. The only feature I wish it had was the ability to take the headphone cord out of headphones incase it would ever break.

Excellent headphones
These headphones exceeded my expectations. I use them for editing and the sound is excellent. They are a little bit tight on the head, but I have gotten used to that. I haven't used them for recording yet, but I am hoping that they will be just as good for that purpose.
