Great Alternative to NI Kontakt
Even though I am a convinced Kontakt user I got tempted by a lot of the UVI staff so I ordered the MachFive Sampler. The library that comes with it sounds great. Little latency and good implementation of a Library. Very impressed.

MF3 Excels where Kontakt falls short
This is a very powerful virtual sampler/synthesizer with a very fast and intuitive interface. I can drastically tweak my patches with ease, much more so than I can inside of Kontakt. I think MOTU is certainly making a statement with this, and their customer/tech support staff are really generous with their time. Great software.
This sampler is much more than a sampler. It is so versatile it could be your only sound source, and it's so well designed that you enjoy exploring and tweaking. It reminds me of my Kurzweil K2000 days which I also chose for its well designed user interface. The library that comes with it is of a high standard. I hope developers embrace this fantastic sampling platform.
