Korg Kaoss KP3+ is a versatile effects weapon.
The Kaoss pad is an amazing and tactile generator of effects - perfect for adding realtime delay, reverb, grainshifting, filtering and manipulating sounds in a way entirely different from an effects pedal. It is also a fantastic real time sampler that will allow you to slice what you sampled and manipulate the playback. Great for synths, dj's, and re-amping to add effects.

Excellent combination
The effects aren't comparable to something like the space or big sky, but what it lacks in effects customization it makes up in versatility. On the fly hand motion effect changes and modifications make for a good time and a great workflow. If you want to see what these things are capable of in the right hands look up Jon Hopkins live set on YouTube. Amazing!!

Good product
Works great, and really fun to use. I hook it up with my EMX, and love the effects. The reason i gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the on/off button doesn't turn it off (on mine, anyway), so I have to unplug it to turn it off. It's only a mild inconvenience though, especially for the price.

AMAZING!
I use this for live effects on vocals and electronic music. Honestly did not expect a Korg product to sound or be this great?! It was sooooo impressive I immediately purchased the Kaossilator Pro+ Fantastic duo!

Nice match
Yep! Learning curve again. But, I've learned to give Myself time when Korg is involved and rewards will follow. It is an ideal kit with any Kaos I use the old yellow toy and a pre + Pro. I run the toy through the KP3+ and it works nicely. I enjoy being able to stack memory loops and mix things up more than I used to. For now, I only freestyle live personal attempts at music. Practice jams, some good, some not so good. All of My Korg stuff gives Me a chance. If You have any of the other Kaos tools You will like this addition.

Exactly what was expected with prompt service
Very happy with this purchase. I researched the product and prices for a while and this was the best price I could find. Korg has done a great job with the KP3. KP3+ simply addictive production machine
This device is more versitle then I expected. From on the fly, improvisation to detailed song production. The Korg Kaoss Pad KP3 puts creativity at my finger tips. B&H had this amazing machine for such a great price, I am happy I purchased it.

Useful for any set up
I really like this thing but be warned there is a learning curve. The set up between logic, the machine, driver set up took a little fussing with. The device itself works great when you are feeding audio into it but I had to get creative to send that signal back to the computer to record an audio take with. There are tons of effects, and most perform pretty musically. The sampler is pretty basic and ok. This device by itself is good but is really enhaced having a digital dj station, kaossilator, and sampler unit. Good device though for what it is.
