Nice hand held mic for the price
Works great with my Moto and sounds clear; using voice recorder app. Only two things: the carry case doesn't seem to fit and could be improved; a nice additional item would be adapters to use on a computer or camcorder. I would recommend this purchase.

Does not work with iPhone 5.
Does not work out of the box, period. Did not come with any software. I am having to go back and forth with tech support to see if we can make it work; otherwise, this will be returned. Connected to iPhone 5 with latest version of IOS.

Very nice tool
Very pleased with the performance and ease of use this mic offers. I have used it with iPads, iPhone and iPod Touch units for secondary audio for interviews both on-camera and off-camera ... as well as my iMac for recording voice over narration. Couldn't be more pleased. Came as part of the Podcast kit.

It's Good, It works
I write iPadreporter on a wordpress site, and I combined the iRig mic with the soundcloud app. It worked great in the cafe where my daughter and I were sitting. The best part about it is that the filter on it turns off the iPad's onboard Mic. I bought another filter and use a collar mic with that, but both mics are hot when I use that filter. Perfect for Facebook and You Tube videos
At our company we have been using my iPhone 4s exclusively to shoot and edit videos (edited in iMovie on the phone). While the video is great, the built-in mic picks up everything. we are shooting people describing exercise routines at 12-15' from the camera. Good heft, easy to attach and use-- with the provided app or any other recording apps. The free vocallive app has a hiss filter-- useful for music, but not needed for podcast or interviewing. Pleased with the purchase-- my primary use is interviews.

iRig Mic is great for off-site recording
Using the iRig mic to record myself in places where a notebook computer is just overkill shows what a great little product this mic really is. It is very clear in what it captures and has a wide frequency response.
