works great on my Fuji xpro-3

Feb 19, 2020

Sits far enough away from the body to rotate as needed and not obstruct the flip screen. Stays firmly connected to the camera.

Does not work with phone headset

Dec 12, 2019

I got this to adapt the Plantronics headset I bought from B&H to my cordless phone. As previously reported by others, it does not work. There was loud buzzing with the headset attached, or when I rotated the loosely fitting adapter either no sound at all or if I did get sound, the headset microphone did not work. I tested the headset on my cell phone to see if it was the problem but there it worked flawlessly. I'm returning it and will look for s... Show More

Works with Fujifilm X-T30

Aug 30, 2019

This adapter works with the Fujifilm X-T30 and a Rode VideoMicro. The adapter transmits sound to both channels, unlike the Sennheiser cable. The only downside is the adapter will connect to the camera pointing down or towards the back of the camera but it cannot point up.

ended up not actually trying it since the device I bought it for (speculatively, not having checked) didnt in fact have a 2.5mm sub-mini female jack. Kept it.

It does its job

Oct 22, 2018

I bought this adapter to connect the patch cable from a RODE videomicro to the 2.5mm mic port on my Fujifilm x-e3. Works like a charm.

I would buy this again.

You can't go wrong with this piece of equipment, its well made and has a lifetime warranty The adaptor looks like it is gold plated in the photo. To sum up, it's a very good value product and I would buy another of these if I needed one.

It fits a Panasonic GX8

Feb 12, 2017

The Panasonic GX8 has a 2.5mm mic port that is smaller than the standard 3.5mm mic jack. It also is located in a spot that can interfere with the OLED screen when extended. This small right angle jack fixes the size problem. It does not completely fix the screen issue, but it is better than an adapter that is straight. Not only is this recommended, but is essential if you have a GX8 and want to use and external mic.

I am a poor college student @ nyu w/ a gh2. This works perfectly as an audio adapter, especially for the price. However, a true audiophile will probably want to buy up.

Many uses

Jul 7, 2015

I needed this to reduce a 3.5mm plug from my Pocket Wizard to the YN560-TX Manual Flash Controller for Nikon. The flash controller obviously controls Yongnuo speed lights but I sometimes use my Nikon Sb-910s as well. Yes, everything is manual but at least I can trigger all speed lights from camera.

Used with my Rode Videomic Pro to my GH2. Works exactly like it should! I love the 90 degree directly into the camera. I've tested all 3 that I bought.

DOESN'T WORK HARDLY AT ALL

Nov 4, 2013

I use this (rarely, of course) to connect ordinary earphones to my Samsung flip-phone. It basically gives sound in only one ear at a time, depending on how I manage to push or pull it into various positions. It also doesn't fit firmly and snugly into the earphone jack. It wobbles. I had these same problems with a cheapie model I bought at *'s 99 cent Store, and returned it. I thought you guys would have better gear, but I guess not.

Works well

Aug 27, 2013

This is a sturdy right-angle connector, 3.5mm female to 2.5mm sub-mini male. I bought it to hook a Rode mic to a Panasonic GH1 (via a XLR to 3.5mm male end). L and R channels come through superbly, no problems.

After trying 4 different adapters

Jul 8, 2013

This gets 5 stars because it works. I went to--------------, none of the adapters I purchased from those stores worked with my Panasonic Lumix GH2. Searched some forums, found out about this one from B&H, ordered it, tried it, problem solved. And it was easily 1-3 dollars cheaper than the other adapters.

required

Jul 1, 2013

I have the Video Mic Pro (stereo) that has the 3.5mm plug and my Panasonic GH2 only has the 2.5mm jack. Therefore, this adapter is required to be able to utilize the mic. As far as the performance of the Hosa adapter is concerned, it simply works. I do not get any audio breaks or glitches when using this adapter even when the camera is used handheld. The fact that this adapter has the right angle makes it less prone to potential damage to the adapter and/or the camera. The adapter fits snug within the jack so it does not have a tendency to slip out on its own.

Must have with GH2

Feb 6, 2013

This is a must with your Panasonic GH2. Virtually no pro-level audio-for-video equipment uses the 2.5mm port, so this turns the jack into a usuable 1/8

Perfect solution for Panasonic Lumix GH2

Feb 23, 2012

This audio adapter fits securely into the audio-in jack on the Panasonic Lumix GH2. The Right-Angle also avoids any unnecessary protrusions from the left side of the camera that would otherwise invite trouble and the chance of a broken audio adapter broken off into the jack. I'm not sure why so few places make this adapter, but Hosa makes a good one. Highly recommended simple solution.
