If you want headphones that are accurate and don't overly color your music, these are a nice option. From Focal: Their tonal balance and precision in terms of audio spectrum make them perfect to evaluate the sound work quality. Totally sick
As an audiophile have purchased tons of stuff over the years. The Focal headphones are the single best purchase I have ever made. I purchased them to accompany my FIIO HiRes Receiver and they perform in badassery fashion. Later I hooked them up to my Lenovo Carbon X-1 (Blade) Laptop and found it a killer combo too. Listening to Machine Gun (Hendrix), How Many More Times (Zeppelin), B.I.G. or Timbaland totally sick. Highly recommended.

Pleasant sounding, but not musically honest
I own a pair of Focal CMS65 active nearfield monitors. I really find them honest and reproduce recordings of my own performances honestly...and give me a pretty good idea of what I did right and what I screwed up (I am a member of a major US symphony orchestra and soloist on my instrument). Excellent closed back headphones, for more than just general use
Use : I'm using the Focal Listen Professional for both recording as well as mixing purposes. I lost my previous headphones, which literally fell apart from old age and extensive use, and with a recording and mixing job within three days of losing them, I needed a quick replacement. Good sound with just a minor issue over comfort.
I'm just a keen music lover, I use the headphones at home with an Audiolab M-dac+ and a PC. I've been using these headphones for just over a month so far, and I'm enjoying them.
