This is a great little drone. I use it to show construction progress. I have some RC experience but barely need any. The Mavic Mini is so user friendly and easy to fly that anyone can get great footage and great stills.

Great drone for the hobby photographer
I've had $1500 drones in my shopping cart at the local brick and mortar more than once. The price point was, in the end, just too much for me to dedicate with the limited time I have to take photos. Compact, precise and easy
I've been a drone footage enthusiast for long and this is my first ever owned drone. It is very lightweight, but totally serves the purpose. I have flown mavic pro as well and the mavic mini's flying experience is nearly the same. I would miss the object tracking and I'm trying to do it manually. The app is good, the video footage is okay, but i think the image quality could have been better. Flight time is 25 minutes on avergae. In all, my verdict is its worth the price.

Super compact
I have had a Phantom 4 for several years and love it, but sometimes it's just too big. The Mavic Mini is the solution to that problem! It also has a few new tricks that the Phantom series doesn't. It's designed for easy flight and as a photography platform. The batteries charged in no time and I was off and flying. The propeller cages allow anyone to get started without the fear of damaging your new drone.

Small and Mighty
For the price and the size of this drone, you cant beat it! The biggest selling point being that you dont have to register the drone or take any tests for a license because of the weight being 249 grams - genius! Not what you think
Wait to purchase this drone until they update the flysafe app if you live in a metropolitan area. If you hit a restricted zone your craft will land immediately. Since there are several airports in my area I can't even practice in my yard. Took it to the local park and it hit a restricted zone and Force landed in the river. Guess I am out a few bucks this month that I could have spent on a camera lens instead.

Great starter, amazing videos!
Ive been thinking of getting a drone for a long time. I just dont have the time right now to justify $1300 or higher for something Ill use on occasion. The Mini was the nudge I needed. Great price point for the new flyer, and the quality is hard to believe for a drone that costs under $500 (I got the fly more combo). Small, light and steady flight with battery life to give you plenty of time to get the shots you want.

A good first or spare drone
The DJI Mavic Mini is my first drone. I find it easy to fly. It has the basic functions and the DJI Fly app is not overwhelming. I'm already considering buying drones with more features. I will keep the Mini for a spare. I can take it anywhere and it can be deployed without unloading a trunkful of stuff.

Best drone
If you consider the price, this is probably the best drone. I have five star because I expect all drones above $300 should have 4K video quality. This is my expectation, otherwise it's okay.

A bundle of joy
If you are into drones and using them for quick usable video shots, this little guy is fantastic. Its easy to use and easy to carry with you. Just be sure the wind is not to strong as this thing will get blown about quite a bit. But its awesome for places its daft to fly.

Mavic mini, large performance
I have a mavic pro and this mini is 95 percent as good for a third of the price. Stable in windy conditions, range good so far.

Very good as in the range of Toy Drone
It's not for serious aerial videographer and,or photographer, but it's good enough for casual use. I own DJI Inspire and Mavic Pro and been through several Phantoms, but I don't mind to use this Mini for a quick shot. Using the Mavic Mini; Be patient
Dear Everybody; While you are waiting for your package, review all the UTube videos. They are VERY informative and will save you lots of time and help from causing any unnecessary damage to the Mini. Also, if you should do any firmware upgrades to your unit, be sure to use a fresh fully charged battery. After all upgrades are completed, take battery out of unit and do a full reboot. Simply magical
It's an amazing drone. I also own a Mavic 2 Pro that I use professionally but I'm always afraid to take it anywhere for fun. Now with this little drone I can fly anywhere allowed, any time and for any reason...a freeing experience.

Better than expected
I was not expecting much other than lightweight and easy to carry, but this little drone has exceeded my expectations quite a bit. It flies very well, picture quality is good, video quality is good and it is very stable. I highly recommend it.

Great w/issues
Great... except for 2 issues. First the fly app doesn't let you fly in authorization areas like other DJI apps (needs fixing). And, some tablets are not compatible with the fly app.

I purchased this drone due to the lower price and small size. I am not a professional videographer or photographer and was hesitant to spend $1k for a drone for personal use. Perfect Drone at This Price
This is my first drone ever, but when I fly the Mavic Mini, I dont feel like a beginner. It has everything that I would want (except for obstacle avoidance). I use it recreationally on vacations and Ive gotten some beautiful images. Im not a pro user, so I dont feel like Im missing out on 4K recording, advanced image controls, or a more advanced transmission system. For $400 flat, I have zero complaints.
