Excellent monitor!
It's very sharp and with a nice design. It's so thin, light and narrow edges and good antiglare mate screen. After the callibration I've made with the x-rite i1 Profiler the colors were not that different to the originals from factory. Controls can be modified physically on the right bottom but also through the monitor icon, which is very convenient. The vision angle is wide but blacks tend to illuminate and there is som glowing areas with a black screen. This does not affect images.

Great monitor for the PS4!
I bought this for my PS4, I prefer to use a monitor for console game play since I started out playing games on a PC. I have the latest PS4 Slim, so only 1080p but the image quality looks vastly superior to my previous monitor. I also love the nearly infinity edge design of the monitor. Build quality is excellent, easy to assemble the stand to the monitor, lot's of ports and adjustment is great. No dead pixels so far, but I do see a little light bleed in the bottom right hand corner, only really an issue on dark scenes.

Amazing Monitor
This monitor is amazing. It has a ton of inputs, in addition to being able to daisy chain them together. There are 4 usb ports that you are powered, and there is an included cable to transmit data to your pc if you want to use the ports as a usb hub for your computer. You get more than what you pay for! Loving the almost invisible bezels and Color accuracy nothing will compare at this price point almost 100%srgb straight from the box and 60hz is not bad for casual gaming! From ADOBE APPS TO OVERWATCH IT DOES IT ALL

Great Screen for the Money
This is a great value. I bought this for a GUI work screen next to a really expensive calibrated monitor for color grading work on low budget independent films. There is a difference, but not much! Easy setup, great contrast & color.

Good Monitor at a reasonable price
We use these monitors in the vertical axis strictly for Outlook. This monitor is part of a 3 monitor solution for our office staff. The vertical orientation allows you to see deeper into your inbox. Works well for this application. Our other monitors are in the horizontal axis.

A Great Monitor At A Good Price For Most Needs
I am a professional wildlife/nature photographer working on a shoestring budget. I replaced my ancient Acer monitor with this one after spending a month of research finding the best monitor for my needs at a reasonable price. The colors and contrast are fantastic out of the box. Great Monitor but not for fps games
Definitely a great monitor. thin edge, usb ports, adjustable set BUT, if u play fps games, do not buy this monitor since it has a significant slower response time compared to TN panel monitors.

Great Monitor
The Dell U2417H is a great monitor. Produces very sharp image with great color. Stand is fully adjustable including a landscape/ portrait positions. The overall width of the monitor ( 21.17 ) allows this 24 class monitor to fit in a small space.The four USB 3 outlets in monitor are a big plus. So far I have not found any downside to this product.

I would recommend this to anywon.
I operate on a win 7. It is slow waking up. Taking about 5 sec. I use the HDMI-HDMI connections. My computer is about 6yrs old so does not have the newer ports. The monitor is very sharp and bright with good colors. For the price it is definitely worth it. It is has 2USB 3 ports for connecting other devices and 2 USB3 power ports. Compared to this, my other monitor was quite dull. Can also hook up another monitor through this one.

Highly recommend!
I purchased this Dell 2 weeks ago to replace a Cinema Display hooked to my late 2012 Mac Mini. Display port works well; default profile produced vibrant colors, and I really like the thin bezel that seems to disappear, makng the screen seem larger than 24. I think this is a very good choice, especially for less than $300......highly recommended!
