Good vocal sound starts here.
I record vocals at my home studio. I've spent alot of time trying to get the digital harshness out of my recordings. It came down to having a good mic. This mic solved that problem. Now vocals are warm sounding with no additional processing required going into the track. I also like the fact that you don't need an external ribbon power supply to achieve enough gain going into the pre amp. Phantom power is all that is needed. A really great product at a really great price (B&H was $100 less than any other competitor)

Great mic...
This is a great mic. I'm going to buy another one so I can use them as a stereo pair, and also for general use with acoustic instruments. I play horn, and this mic is exactly what I've been looking for. Its very robust (thankfully, as I've given it a bit of a hard time...I'm sure other ribbons would not have survived...), plenty of signal, and is truly a joy to use.
