Very solid, but I wish it were a full OS
Very solid, use it for drawing/photoshop, but really wish it had the full OS, or that Macbooks were touch screen, but that's not happening anytime soon.

This thing is real
This thing is real. Its a monster of an iPad. Fast, fantastic screen, looks and feels grate. Now I can really start my work anywhere with no problems and just a few tweaks at my office and done. I am a photographer and graphic artist, believe me, this is my best tool ever.

Meats my expectations for the most part...
The good: visually impressive screen size and quality, very fast, sound quality is nice, feels good in the hand, as always B&H customer service rocks The bad: battery life is less than i imagined but adequate, this thing really heats up over the CPU, GPU when gaming and over time the aluminum case as well.

Love the visuals!
I love the visual aspect of the large, clear screen. I can use both the keyboard i purchased and/or the screen. Visuals are amazing. Still getting used to no home button......and the change in the charging cord.....What a pain in the butt...Apple!

Best tablet alternative to a computer

Replacing the MacBook Pro with my iPad Pro 12.9

iPad Pro
Works great with Apple Pencil (2nd generation) for pressure sensitive drawing/painting. Fabulous for anyone who likes to draw/paint. There are many drawing applications. I currently use Tayasui Sketches available from the App Store. I love that you can rest the palm of your hand on the iPad's screen (without interference) while making detailed drawings, just like you might do with pencil and paper.

Excellent screen, fast, light
The iPad 12.9 is really as close to desktop power for the normal user as it can get. My only wish would be a keyboard available with large trackpad as on a MacBook. Or even better, this iPad display as the turnable, detachable display of a MacBook Pro running both MacOS and iOS. Sound, color and resolution on this iPad are perfect.
