It is a nice portable synth
I like the keyboard and its features, the only problem is if you want to use it as a midi keyboard, there is no touch sensitive settings(or the signal is too weak).It makes some voices in applications like IM1 really hard to hear; specially pianos, strings and other velocity sensitive voices. In the manual there are some velocity settings, but they do not apply for the midi connection.

What a amazing device and at a greatr price.B&H cam through and delivered me this little beast.This thing sounds amazing.I read alot of reviews where people were concerned with it only having 4 operators vs the dx7's 6 but i get plenty out of this.Its very easy to program and synced with my mpc sequencer allows me to have great work flow as not only a synth but a midi controller.I only had one issue with noise via usb connectivity on the audio ou... Outstanding Keyboard. EPIC SOUNDS
Really blown away on this unit. Easy to dial in amazing sounds, great for recording, and surprisingly, but huge hands work well on the tiny keyboard. A must have option for a simple synth sound option.

This instrument looks, feels and sounds great. The moment you switch it on you will be taken down memory lane back to the 80's. Love that warm FM sound! MIDI implementation is perfect, all parameters are available via MIDI, so you can hook it up to your software of choice. But even in standalone, it's just a ton of fun to play.
