Perfect......at least to me.
Sold all my Canon lenses and cameras to try this camera. I'm in love with it. Great sensor, smaller, kit lens is really good. Coming from Canon where the kit lenses are quite bad it was a surprise the quality the included lens has. I'm using it with old adapted lenses too. Having ibis is a great thing. Now they have a decent lens line. Lens are expensive but there are some gems on the line . Auto focus is quite slow but not too bad as some people reports.

Great camera for just about everything.
Loving this camera so far. I've had just for about a month. Image quality is great and even the kit lens is really good. It's not the sharpest but you'll be impressed. Battery life isn't great but not bad. Obviously it could always be better. Camera has great features when it comes to phone connectivity for transfering picture and controlling the shutter. Loving it so far. B&H delivered it fast just in time before my trip to Europe. Loved that too!

The best camera I've ever had!
I use his product everyday for family, social media, and blogging. I am able to use the A7ii with my samsung 6edge and mac. I bought this camera in order to use for a growing hobby. I hope to learn this camera really well and hopefully it will turn into a sources of income. I am not an experience photographer, never took classes, etc. etc. I just love good quality images and the A7ii + Zeiss 35mm 2.8 is a great choice for street/landscape.

Beautiful Images
I'm not a pro photographer, it's been my hobby for yrs. I'm coming from a canon 5d mark II, 24-70 2.8 and 70-200 2.8. B&H gave me good price for my gear and I purchased this camera along with the FE 55 1.8 . I haven't tested night photos yet. Auto focus is tad slower than 5d but not much. Had hard time getting used to view finder. I love the way this camera feels in my hands. It seems very well built and the images are spectacular.

Great quality, size and weight is great.
I got my a7ii with Zeiss 2470 lense three months ago from B&H, first I have to say the quality of photos is as better as Nikon 810 or even better. This image is very sharp for professional use. Some people says it has overheating problem. If you use senser at the time, I assume it will be a little over heat. But it never happen to me. I don't use senser when I don't shot. And the size and weight is perfect to carry for travel.

Very poor noisy low light performance!
I'm not sure what's all the raves about the A7 series was about but after trying this A7ii for a day I returned it so quickly. My Canon 6D video low light performance at ISO12000 is MUCH cleaner than this A7ii at 6400ISO. It is unbelivably noisy at ISO10000. My hope was so high on this camera to replace the 6D for travelling and weight saving but....keep trying Sony, you're heading the right direction but still not there yet.

Great value for the price
As someone who uses primarily older nikon manual focus lenses, I would say this is a great camera just for its sensor stabilization and the EVF ( something that makes manual focus 1000% better with peaking on ) These features alone were the reason I went with sony instead of getting a nikon body. If nikon decides to go mirrorless and put in sensor stabilization then I will consider switching. Until then, sony all the way.

An Impressive Camera!
My initial impressions are favorable. It feels solid and exudes quality. Accessing key controls is straight-forward. Picture quality with the kit lens is good, but as with my NEX 7, Sony oversaturates, so I utilize the exposure compensation dial to lighten the image. The lens is heavy, which is one reason why I like prime lenses, but the convenience of the zoom is undeniable. I got a lot of value for the holiday price.

Great small full-frame camera.
Great small, light, compact full-frame camera that produces sharp,, high resolution pictures in low as well as normal light. Beautiful pairing with Zeiss 55 mm f/ 1.8 Sonnar lens; outstanding. Only major negative so far is short battery life, that can be offset by purchasing an extra battery or two plug-in charger. Wi-fi tile transfer to computer is not as straight-forward as initially thought. View finder works will.

Exellent Camera
I upgraded from a a6000 to the a7II and absolutely love the camera. So far I've only used the camera to shoot sporting events with much success. I only have two recommendations: - purchase the battery pack ? as you will be disappointed in the battery life. - reprogram the scene selection dial ? it's a little close to the shutter button and is very easy to bump. Overall excellent camera with great results!

ADVANCED CAMERA FOR AMATEURS
Great camera and is appropriate for beginners that are committed to learning the art of photography. LIKES: there are too many features to list, and I will probably never out grow this fine instrument. DISLIKES: If it is a digital camera, why does it have to make shutter sound and cannot be muted??? This is not the best if you want to take life-in-the-city pictures. None-the-less, it's still a 5 out of 5.

Fantastic Camera. Super Satisfied With My Decision
I've been using this camera exclusively for the last few months along with the Sony 16-35 F4 lense. The image quality has been superb. I've been very excited to see how well this camera performs in low light conditions. The dynamic range is excellent and I've become a huge fan of the EVF. Focus peaking has been an awesome feature coming from the Nikon world. Overall I would highly reccomend this camera.

Sony Menus and Customization
Before buying I read a lot of reviews that criticized the Sony menu system. While I may agree with them, I find that after I customized the function buttons to my taste and gotten familiar with the FN menu, the camera is quite easy to use and is very responsive. The focus zoom and focus peaking features really open up the usability of manual focus lenses. Oh yes, battery life is disappointing.

It's a good camera
I've only had it for a week, but I'm satisfied with it so far. The photos are sharp and clear. I've had other Sony cameras, so it was pretty easy to learn how to use it, even though buttons, menus, functions are in slightly different places. It's pretty intuitive. If I had any complaint it would be battery life. Very disappointed in that. It might get better when I'm not outside in winter.

Great next step camera!
I bought a Nikon D3200 that did a great job of teaching me the ropes. It was and still is a great camera. But as time went on, I started to notice some things that made me realize that it was time for a new camera. This camera is amazing. It has a moveable screen, a level in the viewfinder, so many different settings, and more within a relatively light camera. Definitely would recommend.

Outstanding Performance
I am amazed at the quality and sharpness of my photos. It is a Joy to operate with easy access to all control buttons and features. The weight is fantastic. I own a Nikon D5 and when on various photo shoot assignments it makes a huge difference in lugging extra equipment. I am very satisfied. The only draw back is battery life. I purchased a battery grip as well with two extra batteries.

Great Camera !
I switched to this camera from a canon 60d. The image quality is excellent and the size is awesome. While the autofocus is not as good as pro-level DLSRs, It does just fine in 90% of shooting situations. It does miss focus in dark lighting but even DSLRs have trouble in these lighting conditions. If you are looking to get into Full Frame cameras this is a great place to start.

Amazing camera for the price!
Chose this out of the other A7 bodies because of the affordability. Loving this camera so far. Very lightweight & easy to carry around. The only negative I have with this camera is it doesn't have a fully articulating monitor. Would've been great to have for photos & videos. And then of course battery life. I'll just have to buy extra batteries, which I don't mind as much.

Upgraded from the Sony A6000.
Love the Sony equipment, controls are very similar, but the 5 axis sabilzation is unbelievable. Using this camera mostly with the 28 -75 mm 2.8 Tamron an excellent combination. Very fast auto focus, pictures are clear and sharp. Have only used the camera for a couple of days. Will right more detailed review in a couple of weeks after a trip to the Ozarks in Missouri.

I have only had the camera for a few weeks, but I am impressed by the image quality paired with a 15mm Voitlanger manual lens. Pros seem to be the compact size and being able to use different lenses with adapters and great looking photos straight out of the camera. The cons: Battery life is poor, and its a bit heavy despite its small size. Cool looking design.

Wish the battery life was better...
This is a solidly built camera that takes fine photos. Only big negative is the poor battery life. While I have only taken it around for local photos, it's obvious that at least one backup battery needs to be in my pocket at all times. The other issue is that the camera kid does not come with a charger...the only way to charge the battery is via the camera.

Great camera
I love this camera. Great images, crisp and I like the live view monitor and everything mirrorless offers. Also can use old legacy lenses on it. Battery power could be better but you just need to buy more and but a charger. One thing I'm confused about is if it has high speed sync. The specs states that it does but I don't see the option on the camera.

A7ii w/28-70 lens kit
Glad to be able to buy this at a very good price. Camera tho a little dated is sufficient for my photographic needs. The free gifts are useful too (luckily I managed to find out about this package with free stuff as the other offer without free stuff goes for the same price). Take great pictures and the firmware in the camera is already updated to 4.0.

I am thoroughly enjoying my new a7ii. I had originally planned for the a7iii but when I saw the sale price on the ii I decided to pull the trigger. It shipped the next day and I had it two days later. B&H does an awesome job getting their orders out, even during busy holiday times.
