I ordered two of these as a trial because if one gave I wouldn't want to be stuck by not heaving monitoring headphones. The old Sony adapter gave. Seems to me that, lately, Sony is not using rugged enough materials in their products. Their adapter's plastic joints simply gave. I mention that there was no inadvertent usage stress on the adapter. Fits and works great on BeyerdynamicDT 770 Pro headphones
My headphones weren't listed by other buyers regarding compatibility, but I can assure you that this adapter screws perfectly into to my BeyerdynamicDT 770 Pro headphones jack, and it works great! I bought a pair of these adapters just in case one is misplaced - easy to do because it is offered at a very reasonable price, and it is so easy to find and purchase online at B&H's website.

Excellent Fit for Casion Piano
I was looking for this adapter at many places including RadioShack. The one i bought from Radioshack got broken in less than 6 months. I couldn't get it from anywhere. Finally i turned into B&H. This adapter fits really well and this is the one i have been looking for longtime. It fits really well with my Casio Piano audio jack. Bought couple of adapters just in case.

Does Not Fit ATH-M50 Headphone Jack
I was looking for a replacement adapter for my Audio Technica ATH-M50 studio monitoring headphones. This adapter does not fit that model. The M50's headphone jack is too large to screw into this adapter. I'm sure it works well for other models of headphones.

Pearstone - Solid and dependable
Solid unit for your 1/8 to 1/4 connection to headphones. Cheap ones can break or eventually snap off. For studio work imperative you have the best available. These certainly fit that criteria. Highly recommend and while you're at it grab a couple.

great with Sennheiser headphones

I use these on my Sony MDR V6 headphones to adapt the mini plug to a regular 1/4 jack. They fit well and contribute no degradation to the sound as far as I can tell.
