Great camera for the price
I picked up two of these kits and was really happy with the price. I use the cameras as back ups / second angles. I would recommend anyone use the GX85 as a second cam but not a first. Likes Great size and weight Great image quality Clean HDMI output dislikes No camera cap No external charger No .mov format No audio input No flat colour profile

A great carry around complement to my G85
I already own a Panasonic G85, which I really enjoy, but was looking to get a second camera that was easier to carry with me when I was just out walking. I seriously considered the LX100 because of the bright Leica lens but decided on the GX85 because I could use my existing lenses and because the operation would be familiar. The GX85 much more compact than I expected from comparing the specs. It easily fits in a large jacket pocket with the kit... Show More

Good Service fine products
GX85 is a super little camera and with the two lens it gives you great flexibility to shot most any subject. Couldnt be happier with this purchase, thanks B&H!

Great camera!
Purchased this after much research of other reviews. I have been using a snap and shoot for a number of years but wanted something better but still compact. This hit all the numbers. Still learning the camera but am happy with my pictures so far. A bonus is that I purchased an adapter that allowed me to use my lenses from my old Konica TC 35 mm.

Love the Camera - Weird sized camera bag
The camera kit is great and Im enjoying the camera. The only weird thing is the the camera bag is huge - not sure why they provide that because it would fit a full DSLR !

Great camera at a value price!
A very sophisticated M4/3 system that takes some time to learn if you are new to digital photography. If you are familiar with other Panasonic digital cameras you will know how to use this one.

Love this camera
After shooting 35mm for decades I dropped out of the photo thing when it all went digital. Just wasnt right anymore. For the last couple yrs have been thinking of getting back in. Liked the rangefinder styling. After researching, the mirrorless design appealed to me as well. Finally pulled the trigger, and glad I did. The lightweight size is great, and the digitalness of it all, well, isnt all that bad either. I can point and shoot in P mode, or ... Show More

Great Micro 4/3 Snapper
This is quite an impressive camera with all its features. Love the touch screen and the offset viewfinder. The bonus with this camera is the extra lens - a Lumix 45 to 150mm f/4 lens. Oh, and the added goodies of a 32 GB memory card, UV filter and small camera bag add to the bargain buy. The only disappointment with my order - I was never notified that the camera was delivered by FedEx. Lucky no Porch Pirates got to it before I did :-)

Great M43 camera to check out the format
I was tired of lugging around my Nikon set up, looking for something lighter, but better than my phone. I also purchased the Oly 12-40 zoom and the Panasonic/Leica 15mm. I also used a Nikon lens adapter for my legacy 50mm. I enjoy being able to manually adjust settings, and have the option for auto. I just finished a trip into Yellowstone on snowmobiles, so found a couple of issues. When it was cold, the lens release button would not latch on a ... Show More

Just what I needed
I was looking for a small light camera to carry around with me that would produce better images and be more flexible than my Iphone. I used to have a Panasonic LX 3 and really like it for that purpose, so I decided to go with another Panasonic, and B&H had a great deal on this camera. I am still getting used to it but so far the only real complaint is that it is a bit too heavy for its size, but that is something Im sure Ill get used to.

1st mirrorless camera does not disappoint....
I have been wanting to go mirrorless for awhile now. Until recently I have been lugging around an older Canon 7D with a variety of lenses, The canon was OK for planned shoots, but much more of a burden to carry for just casual shooting during family outings and general photography. Most people swear by the phone camera these days as being good enough. I am not part of that camp. While I feel my iPhone 6s is fine for photos in the daylight, for t... Show More

Nice carry everywhere camera
Havent had a lot of time to test, but on a weekend outing to a German Christmas Market, the camera performed well. Photos looked good to ISO 3200, with 6400 doing ok in a pinch, especially in the lighter parts of the images. Some noise in the shadows, Nice size to carry around all day, especially with the 12-32 mm lens. Was disappointed that it (lens) came without a hood. Havent tried the 45-150 yet, but it is very compact and comes with a lens hood.

nice but limited
small, elegant, but extremely confusing menu and set up. i like manual control (and prime lenses) - astonishingly this is challenging to set up. AF is OK. image quality is pretty good. hand feel is pretty good with small lenses.

Wonderful compact camera
I bought this while on a trip because I didnt bring a DSLR and felt like I was missing out on a lot of opportunities. Im really glad I did - its solidly built, packed with features, and cranks out sharp clear photos all day. The kit lenses are both great, though I could live without the 12-32. I picked up a 20mm f/1.7 which I like much more. I find myself using it a lot still, even when not traveling.

Amazing deal at $497.00 for 4K video and nice stills
I bought this as a B camera for video because it went on sale. The in body stabilization and 4k video capability combined with the interchangeable lenses is amazing for the $500 range. Nice to have a touch screen for focus and menu navigation. Not great in low light. Cant focus manually easily with the kit lens (no focus ring on it). Kit lens is surprisingly sharp. Pretty good autofocus. Not sure how useful the longer lens will be for me. Takes ... Show More

Incredible Value for a small micro four thirds
I bought this compact camera with extra lens primarily for its 4K video capabilities, compactness and image stabilization. As others have noted, it has certain limitations, but it is PACKED WITH FEATURES and cannot be beat at this price for 4K. The 12-32mm less is so small but good. Its my current go to camera for travel and everyday shooting. Put the 25mm f1.8 lens in your pocket for low light for $150 more and you have a formidable package. I... Show More

Great mirrorless camera
I was looking for something smaller than full size DSLR, something like a classic rangefinder camera, which I would be able to use for travel and landscape photography. After a lot of research, I have decided to buy this set. I can say that for $497 for camera plus 2 lenses, it is well worth the money. You may check full review on YouTube called Panasonic GX85/GX80 Hands-On Field Test. In addition to all micro-four-third lenses, this camera allow... Show More

Beautiful pictures and videos
I bought this camera for both stills and video to alongside my GH 5. Mainly I shoot videos but I needed something reasonable for both. The lens kit was ok for me. But then I put on my Panasonic 12-60mm lens and this baby shined. Video quality was as good as my GH5. To me its a smaller version of the Gh5 without the bells and whistles. The 4K video and photos replicate well. It was so much easier than my GH5 to operate out of the box. Its light and simple to use. Great camera for beginners. Im glad my research turned out well.

What a great camera it was
I had this camera for 3 months and I loved it. I took it with me everywhere, isn't that the point of a range finder type of camera? Well after 3 months the auto focus assist light would stay on when the camera is on. I always shoot manual with AF and other gadgets off.. Called up B&H photo they told me to contact Panacare wich I did, and here is their response: "Unit has impact damage to bottom right corner of rear case- removed rear case- fo... Show More

Great results for small package
I wanted a decent camera that had the adjustable settings I needed but was also small and easy to carry. The GX85 meets those needs rather well. The 2 lenses are good, though you may find yourself swapping them out quite a bit (the 12-60 on the G85 might be a good compromise). Still, you can get some great results with this little camera. Battery life may be limiting for some, but it charges off MicroUSB, so topping off is easy. I'm quite happy with it so far.

I love this camera
I own Nikon so it was a whim that caused me to purchase this combo. I have been pleasantly surprised by it's build and performance. The colors and pictures pop and the sharpness was surprising. Cooler weather is here so perfect pocket camera. HD video is excellent, I have not tried the 4K yet. Great camera at a good price!!
