Unfortunately, I had a very strange experience with the drone; it took off and apparently something interfered with it and it was almost like someone else took control of it and it crashed damaging two of the propeller and the gimble.

Having never used any type of RC anything, car or drone etc, It was just simple common sense to purchase this protection for my new Mavic Pro. Newbie to Drones and this is worth it.
I usually never buy EXTENDED Warranties with AppleCare being the big exception. I really researched whether this was worth it. I went to several forums and reviews on the internet. For me being a first time Drone owner I think it's worth it. It's basically like AppleCare for the Spark. Never owned a drone before the Phantom Pro 4+
Took my drone out of the box charged up the batteries set it out in my back yard and was flying within half an hour of receiving my drone. I have now owned it for two weeks and am pretty good at it . Use it in my business (contractor) and it is an excellent tool Phantom Pro 4+ you hit a home run

Even that o didn't use it yet it will offer you piece of mind. Know what you are paying for. It will give you priority in repair and deeply discounted price for replacement or repair but you stll have to pay. Thumbs up to dji for including water damage !!!
