Love these. High quality. Noise cancelling is miraculous!
Use the product daily. It's remarkable what a difference the noise cancelling makes. The headphones are one of the very few that I've found stay in my ears. They work when not in noise-cancelling mode, but they don't sound like anything special. There is a slight increase in the noise floor at high frequencies (a hiss) when noise cancelling is on. It's really not that significant, but is made a little more noticeable because the rest of the noise floor is lowered so much (esp at low frequencies). I highly recommend. If these last (which I suspect they will) then they will be worth their price.

Wonderfull......
I own 2 headphones witch cost $.In french;Effectivement, j'ai achet 2 sets d'couteur, le premier m'a cout plus de $. en spcial, il tait $. le deuxime, situation semblable.Revenons au sujet de cet avis. Bose toujours ( Ou presque ) eu une rputation enviable sur les quipements et accessoires haut de gamme. Soyons francs, ils se sont tromp quelques reprises. Par contre, je dois avouer que cette fois, ils ont produit un quipement de trs grande qualit. Est-ce que je recommande ce produit....???Aucune hsitation, vous allez tre surpris et surtout combl....Voyage, la maison, ......Go for it......

Great noise cancelling but sound not so good.
I'm surprised at how well these cancel noise. I haven't used them in an airplane yet but we have enough noises around our house to test them out. They block nearly 100% of the noise from distant traffic, factories, trains, etc. I'm sure they'll do well on an airplane. However, the sound quality of the music is way underwhelming especially considering the price. In my opinion, the stock Apple earbuds sound better. I'm not sure how Bose has such a good name in sound with such poor sound quality in these. I got them for the noise cancelling so they are great for that.

Great noise canceling!
I just took these new headphones on a trip overseas and they worked like a dream! They cancelled out the plane's engine incredibly well and, although they'll only cancel noise when turned on, you can still use them as regular headphones when they're turned off. So, even when they ask you to turn off your portable devices, you can still use the headphones. The main think I don't like about them is that the power source is large and clunky. When using them on the plane, the weight of the power source would sometimes weigh them down and they'd become unplugged.

Noise cancelling and sound quality at excellence.
There is not a doubt that I loved the product. Noise canceling is just amazing and quality of sound is much better than what I was expecting. There is just one thing I did not like about the product. That's the noise canceling device (rectangular bar and has a button to turn on noise canceling) attached right next to 3.5mm jack. I usually listen to music through my phone while commuting locally. My phone remains in my pocket, the device is not easy to put in pocket and be attached to phone at the same time.

Great headphones
Sounds canceling is best in class. They are not perfect, of course, but they help tremendously, especially on airplanes. Remember to use the voice button to talk to people when you have it on. Battery life has been fine so far, easily over a dozen hours, and recharges easily on microUSB. My friend has the older, white and black QC20 and these are slightly better. Bose tweaked the system a bit because these drown out more low rumbling (like on a bus on a highway). Wish they weren't $ for headphones...

It works!
This is a great product, though expensive. But it works. Now on every travel by subway or other public transportation, I can watch video, do other things as I like. You can hardly watch videos or listen to podcast with regular earphones such as the one comes with iPhone. The sound is OK for the price, not great, but without the much noise from outside, you will have a whole new experience with the world created by the earphone. I only used it for about a month, so not sure how durable it is though.

Amazing noise cancelling
I actually wanted the headphones for some quiet time when I want to shut out any background noise. I read the noise cancelling (NC) was really good and it turns out it is brilliant. Ive used it on the bus the difference with the NC on was amazing - love them. And sound is pretty good. Bose quality. I few times Ive thought the sound of the music sounds slightly 'boosted' or artificial compared to others but then sometimes it sounds totally fine. Overall superb headphones that I glad I've bought.

Amazing quality
I bought the Bose 20I Acoustic Noise Cancelling In-Ear Headphones to replace a pair by another manufacturer. In the past I have also had the Bose over the ear noise cancelling headphones. I was amazed by how well they work. I have used them on two flights now, and they cut out the ambient noise 99%, and the quality of the music from my iPad is sublime. They are expensive but worth every penny. Tomorrow I fly to Hong Kong from Newark and will use them non-stop on the flight. Thank you Bose!

New version has inferior noise cancellation
I purchased the previous version of these buds about 3 years ago and really liked them - excellent sound and noise cancellation. Over time I started getting static on them. It seemed the wired connection was breaking down. I paid about $100 to have them replaced with the "newer" version. It looked nice and sounded good but provided very weak noise cancellation. I was offered a second pair but the same problem was present. Very sad to see the quality of an excellent product go downhill.

Better than QC15!!!
Just sold my QC15 Headphone. The QC20i block noise better,sound better, are better to transport. The noise canceling is really incredible and it deserves it's name. The only downside might be that you have to charge them with the usb cable and can't really use batteries. On the other hand you can still use them without the NC - not so the QC15 which use batteries but don't work without them at all. It's a great product and i would buy them again and again.

great when traveling or not
These are amazing while being small so great for travel. but they are also great when looking for quiet while reading or working in a coffee shop for example. Two drawbacks: One the wire between device jack and the battery is a bit short. Takes some maneuvering sometimes. Two is the need to recharge the batteries. At the end of a long trip all devices often need charging but there aren't always enough outlets especially when traveling with family.

Comfortable, amazing sound.
These in-ear headphones are fantastic. They really do cancel out noise. I use them on airplanes when traveling to client sites. I have no issues hearing jet engines, and it makes the flight so much more comfortable. The reason I got these over over-ear headphones is to not ruin my hair while using them, since I use them mostly during business hours. I suggest these to anyone that needs noise cancellation without the headband hair.

Manufacturing quality as expected
Overall the product is of quality and very satisfactory. One two caveats: It doesn't seem to charge while set on noise reduction mode and connected to a smartphone (Xperia Z2) and charging has to be done set as OFF or directly to a power plug. Second, but this is I guess due to acoustic laws, in a train some sudden high pitch noises induce a crack in the noise cancellation counter effect. Other than that, I'm a happy customer.

These are great!
They really work at blocking out most of the the surrounding noise, while giving you a good sound. I also have the Bose QuietComfort 15 over the ear and these are so much more comfortable and waaaaaay more portable. I love that you can still use them when the battery dies (which is not the case in earlier headphones. Great for travelng, noisy office, and blocking out unwanted noise while watching Netflix. Highly recommend.

These improved the quality of my life: no noise = no fatigue
Best noise cancellation earbuds I have ever used. Now I take them with me everywhere to shield myself from traffic noises, police sirens, construction, crowded restaurants and the loud guy screaming into his cellphone. As soon as I flip on the noise cancellation switch, the music seems to pop out, loud and clear. Sometimes I even walk by a construction site listening to ambient environmental sounds, like rain and thunder.

I would recommend this
does what it's supposed to do. sounds good. long cord. battery lasts about 16 hours. used on a 10 hour flight and really made it almost entirely quiet, I was surprised for the better when I took them out and heard the difference - how noisy the plain really is. I gave 4 stars and not 5 because the earphones slip out of my small ears (I'm 5 ft tall) and that's with the small earbuds. too bad Bose don't include more sizes.

Amazing noise canceling
Went to a Bose store to look at the QC25. Not a big fan of over-the-ear headphones and the bulky look. Tried on the QC20 and was impressed. I've had these for about a week now on the trains and walking in the city - pretty impressive and you don't realize how noisy your surroundings are until you talk them off. Comfortable as well. Wind noise seems to be an issue. Don't yet know how durable since these are new.

Compact and comfortable
Compact and very comfortable. After three hours in my ears, I did start to feel them, but it was nothing compared to the discomfort of listening to the drone of an airplane. I borrowed a friend's over-the-ears headphones a couple of times before, but they didn't work as well for me because I wear glasses. These in-ear headphones are great! They also stay in your ears, unlike my phone's earbuds.

Bose Quiet Comfort In-Ear Headphones
These headphones are phenomenal for in-ear. They have incredible noise cancellation and truly have surpassed any of my expectations. When you have the power on, the sound and ambiance are simply outstanding. If the power source runs out of juice after 6-8 hours, the sound is not as rich but still decent. However, when fully powered, they are almost as good as over the ear phones. I love them!

My third pair!
It is very good, but this is my third pair in 5 years. The rubber membranes covering the battery compartments for both pairs peeled off after just about 1.5 years. Then, both of them died after a little over 2 years on the same cause, the left piece died. I am dependent on it for traveling on the airplane, it is easy to carry and function well. So, I brought my third pair.

Good Noise Canceling Headphones
Purchased the QuietComfort 20i Acoustic Noise Cancelling In-Ear Headphones from Bose for airline travel. The headphones do not provide quite the noise reduction of the over the ear models, but are more comfortable. This is especially true if you sleep / rest with your ear on the headrest of your seat. They are much more compact for traveling than the over the ear models.

Rolls Royce of Noise-Cancelling In-Ear Headphones
I recently bit the bullet and purchased a pair of these expensive headphones. I had the chance to put them through their paces on a roundtrip to Seattle and they were completely fantastic. I couldn't be happier with the sound quality, the noise cancellation, the convenience of the headphones' small size and the battery life. There are not cons that I have et discovered.

Superb - Compact - In Ear Headphones
The sound quality of these headphones is excellent. The noise cancellation technology is simply amazing. Fit the proper size ear buds (included) for your ears and these are super comfortable for long periods of time. I'm impressed with these earphones as a nice compact option to travel with, not deal with the airline noise and still have excellent sound quality
