Just as great the second time around
I had purchased this unit a year ago for on camera talkng head audio. It has been a reliable workhorse for the price. The audio quality is a good as any unit I have used. A few times I have wished to have two folks live or the interviewer and interviewer so I've purchased a second set with a different frequency. It's worth mentioning that I have been previously able to get good audio from the person wearing the unit and those standing nearby.

Decent
For the price its a decent lavalier system. The casing for the receiver and transmitter is feels like it could easily break.

Excellent!
This microphone is amazing. The sound quality is awesome and the price is so low - everyone should get one! It seems to be pretty sturdy too, since it already got dropped on a tile floor and didn't break.

Great sound minor issues
The sound quality is great. It's easy to use. The only thing i disliked was that the mic windscreen was low quality. Really a small issue, but if you need a windscreen, you'll have to purchase one separately.

Does everything it's supposed to
I got this to use with my Canon 5D Mark II when recording video interviews. It works really well. I've tried it with the transmitter and receiver separated by up to 45 feet away and gotten really good sound quality--little or no hiss, and no interference problems. Well worth the price. There are other models with different microphones; don't know how these compare. Thanks to B&H for recommending it--I'd buy it again for sure.

Good for Business Applications
I purchased this system to record speakers at a conference. I didn't take it out of the box until the morning of the conference, but found it intuitive to use and the sound quality was excellent. The only downside I experienced was since I chose to not adhere it to my camera, the receiver was a bit bulky and in the way hanging from the camera.

easy and breezy
primarily used for following humans around and being interrogative. in my experiences this handy kit picks up crisp audio at reasonable distances. once you're 30 ft. away from your subject you can expect to drop signal. if you are young, broke, and need some mics...you should already have these in your cart.

Not good
I tested it a bit before using it for a wedding I was shooting and it had lots of interference and it was so bad at some points I can't even use the audio. Of course it was right at the vows. I had high hopes for this but it failed me.

Not Impressed
I've used this Mic system for weddings and a few interviews and it has failed me too often to where I can no longer trust it. I shot a wedding with it and I got interference from the wireless hand held the officiant was using. Anytime the subject was more than 1 foot away I would get static, even during a basic sit down interview. Out of the 5 or 6 times I've used this mike it's gotten clean sound once. The sound quality is pretty good, I'll give... Show More

Good value.
For the money, this is a good wireless microphone. Easy to use. The transmitter is a bit bulky to wear. Have only used it indoors so far. Voice quality has been good. Plastic case seems a bit flimsy but probably to be expected given the price.

Great audio at an affordable price
I bought two Pro 88W lav mics for documentary interviews into a Panasonic HVX P2 HD camcorder. Great audio quality at an affordable price.

Good System...limited durability
Cost was a big factor; I needed to keep cost down for our online training video production budget. I had borrowed one of these earlier from a colleague, and used it quite a bit. But something happened to the mic cable internal wiring when used in an action sequence. Still, I bought two more, as they are fairly inexpensive. Audio quality is fine; some interviews we do via a Canon 7D and coupling this mic with a BeachTek adapter produces much better audio -- and easier to edit -- than the H1N1.

+Improvement from Built-In Camera Mic
I come from twenty five years of engineering and producing albums in some of the best studios in the world. While I wouldn't put this product in the same league as Neumann or AKG mics, it is a great improvement over any consumer camera's built-in mic, especially for projects that require clarity of detail, such as narration. Camera mics might be okay to use for ambient sound and that's about it. Audio Technica is no stranger to recording studios ... Show More

Did what I hoped for!
We recently lost a very costly wireless mike on a shoot on a boat. A lot of our production is done on and around water. to loose a $1500.00 mike is to costly. We needed a backup ... The Pro 88- preformed with sound quailty beyound my expatations. Tweeked everthing in editing and received payment from the customer with another asingment. Good product for the money. ...

Cheap, jet works
Yea, this is a cheap wireless pack. It only has two channels and its made of plastic. But, the audio is clear and you cannot beat it for the price. This would definitely be a good starting wireless. If you need XLR inputs, you will need an adapter cable. Other than that, great product.

Great quality for the price
I use those in pairs, connected to my camera to record dialogues. It's perfect and of great quality for the price. Highend equivalent cost twice as much. The only drawback is the limited choice of wavelength.

Good for the $$
Works well at a far range. Came in very handy for picking up extra lines at an event I shot recently. A little bit of noise, but it filtered out in FCP.

Awesome Sound
Purchased the Lavalier mic System for my child film maker. I have used the system several times for short auditions. Sufficent range for indoor work and the sound quality on the camcorder tape was excellant.

Simple yet effective wireless microphone
I'm a wedding videographer so this microphone is great at getting clean, clear audio during the vows. I also use it for getting speakers during interviews for documentaries and it works like a charm. Two frequencies are just enough, and the batteries last for a long time. I bought a 1/4 plug into an XLR so now I can use the mic for both ports for two of my cameras. Great product.

Mixed Bag
Very inexpensive wireless lav. Only used it once so far, but had some inconsistent interference in which I couldn't identify the source. I was able to make it work though. If I was doing live sound and it was very important to get it perfect on the first/only go round, I'd go with something else.

Pretty good so far
There was a small airy sound to it through the headphones, but nothing a quick de-hiss filter can't fix. All in all pretty good for the price!

It's a beautiful sound
So far so great! Used on one indoor and one outdoor wedding. It was easy to install, easy to set up, had surprising distance reception. So far I haven't found anything bad...er, maybe a windscreen on the mike would be nice, but it's a minor thing.
