Apple Pencil is cool
This is a great device and great addition to and iPad Pro, especially the larger one. You can use a number of apps to write handwritten notes like in a notebook or a pad of paper that is totally searchable. No more flipping through pages of paper trying to find information from months ago.

Love the Pencil
It felt natural, pretty much like a pen or pencil. Ease of use. I'm taking notes, sketching, coloring, etc. This is a great addition to the iPad Pro line. By far this has been the best of others I have tried.

Perfect

Exciting stylus for iPad Pro
Great for drawing and annotating images. Simple pairing to iPad. But do wish there was a clip or holder from Apple for it.

Great with some very fixable flaws
The pencil works great! Super sensitive and much more effective on the large screen of the 12 iPad. The flaws though are fairly obvious and somewhat easily fixed: - completely round pencil is prone to rolling off tables and is somewhat hard to keep track of--remedied by attaching the clip from a normal pencil/pen - weighting of the pencil is somewhat odd for sustained writing.. Great for Note-taking
I mainly use this pencil for note-taking on my iPad Pro (12.9). It's very accurate and the delay is negligible/imperceptible to me. Build quality is exceptional and the battery lasts all day. Length and weight feel just right.

Not a magic Pencil
No this is not a magic pencil, if you can't draw... using this won't help. However it at least allows you to try. It's like using the etch a sketch back in the sixty's. Tick-tack toe at it's best. Kids are so use to just pushing buttons, put this in their hand and watch the brains start cranking out master pieces for grandma....better be able to print you screen, unless you want to hang the Apple on the fridge : )

Perfect tool
Together with AstroPad, I can work on Photoshop while at my desk, in a meeting, or on the couch I can edit/create comps on 1GB+ photoshop files.

awesome pen
Its taken awhile to get this pen but its been well worth the wait. Ordered from B&H and they have been great. They me informed along the way and delivery was very fast. Great company, will definitely be ordering from them again.

A good start
Pencil works beautifully when drawing with touch sensitive reaction and precision. No eraser???? Very disappointing. Charges weird sticking out from the iPad or using the cord and having to keep track of the pencil top which is a tiny little (useless?) part.

Great for notes
Great for accurate note taking with diagrams. Excellent palm rejection. Simply the best stylus performance for the iPad Pro. Very good when used with Goodnotes. Only downside is storage when not in use but a simple pen loop would rectify.

Good but not perfect
Amateur art.Good: easy to use, easy to charge, batteries are long lasting, precise pointing/markingBad: The recharge seems fragile. It is a lightening male component that plugs into the iPad and I am terrified of bumping it and breaking my $$+ pencil. No clip for the pencil. Pencil is round and rolls on any surface you place it on. Would be better/more intuitive/more Apple like if you could turn it over and use the back as an eraser.

Magic!
This thing is amazing. I have tried many different forms of stylus over the years and this is simply the best. It is precise to the pixel, instant response, and it understands pressure and the angle you hold it. Just perfect.

I waited 30 days to get my Apple Pencil and now that I've used it for a month I can honestly say that it was well worth the wait. Currently it can only be used on the Apple iPad Pro, but I predict that this product, (and other versions like it from Apple in the future) will be compatible with any device that has 3D multi-touch technology i.e.; iPhone, iPod Touch... etc. (personally, I'm hoping they make it compatible with the iPhone 6s + in a sof... Needs an iRaser...
Otherwise fantastic stylus with great precision... is there a way to tell if it's charged? I don't see a light or anything to tell me, nor any protocol or way to see while it's plugged into the iPad... at least from what I've discovered. This probably doesn't help anyone but this is my experience with it!

Apple did it again
Yes, it's technically a stylus. And yes, jobs would probably be upset. But it's such a great device. Works great. Like all Apple devices, it feels natural.
