Apple definitely listened to some of the majors gripes users had with previous MBP machines. This keyboard is fantastic, nice click, a bit of travel. The separate escape key and Touch ID was a nice touch too.

Getting the feelz of it
So far so good! Runs FCPX like a boss (my main reason for upgrading). Runs a little hot but cools down fast. I had a 13 MacBook Pro before and am getting used to the new/bigger keyboard. Keep on Maccin'!

Great laptop
Get as much memory as you can afford NOW, as it cannot be upgraded once bought. Very fast with Retina screen, this is a rather large, heavy laptop. You will need a card reader.

My aging pre-2015 MBP was long due for an upgrade. This new MBP is exactly what I needed. Much faster, bigger disk, better keyboard. USB-C needs adapters, however. Love it.
