Mac Review
I have had a long history with macs and it was time to update mine. I decided to get the 2017 Macbook with 16Gb Memory and 512Mb Had-Drive. It was less than the new 2018's and I did not need a touchbar so this was the right choice. The keyboard is not quiet as noted in other reviews but I have not had a problem. Keyboard design flaw causes early often failure
I've used all MacBook Pros variants since 2009. Never had a problem with their keyboards. Wanted to love it, but the keyboard extremely shallow design, and tight tolerances cause the keys to eventually either lose their "click" i.e. become spongy, or simply don't respond at all. As a professional software developer, I live and die by a good keyboard. I either have to carry an external keyboard, or look for other options. For non-professional use, occasional emails, web browsing it's a fine machine, but there's nothing pro about this Mac.

beautiful gift
I got this as my daughter's graduation gift. She loves it. She played music on it and the speakers sounded nice. B&H's packing and delivery was one business day only to Easton, PA. I had viewed the laptop in an Apple store beforehand so no surprises. But I am glad that she appreciates it especially after she agreed to take the 2017 release instead of the newly released 2018 version (this saved us $200 which can buy some accessories). She complained slightly about the headphone jack being not compatible with her iPhone 7 wired earbuds.

Awesome shopping and shipping experience!
Love shopping at B&H for two big reasons - amazing selection of tech gadgetry and great user experience with stellar navigation/categorization. In this case, I found B&H to be better than Apple.com in terms of both price and the ability to actually understand and compare specs of different MacBook pro models (2017 vs 2018, MBP vs MB etc.). It was a no-brainer to use B&H to finish the order because the cherry on the pie was free expedited 1-day shipping for my order. I ordered around 3pm and I received my laptop the next afternoon!

Battery started exhausting pretty quickly after 6 months of
I have only had this computer for 6 months and I have been noticing glitches with the software - I even thought it was fake at first. I have also experienced issues with google docs on the Mac but never on a dell desktop. The computer delays to wake when it goes into sleep mode. The most recent issue is how quickly the battery is exhausting - I charged it full and with in a matter of a few hours it is on 15% which is very strange. I wouldn't trust these computers at all - make at purchase at an actual apple store to be safe.

Great Laptop; Lack of Ports Frustrating
I've been an Apple customer for more than a decade and I'm disappointed in Apple's decision to cut the ports their laptops. Technology moves forward, but shouldn't inconvenience the consumer: I'd like to use my USB-based Apple keyboard, my headset, and my non-Mac monitor without having to buy a separate hub (will cost $75 - $300 USD). Apple, If you cut the ports, why not cut the price of the laptop to offset the cost of the hub... Or include a hub in the box? Otherwise, the MacBook Pro 2017 is working fine.

I love it and I love the company
I have been looking forwardon buying a MacBook Pro for a long time and I'vebeen searching for a good price and I found it here!!! I was skeptical at first because it was $100 dollars off and then no sales tax but when it came in I wasn'tdisappointed I worried about nothing. Ever since I got my computer I loved everything about it, the only thing I dislike about it is that you have a lot of adaptors unless you have an adoptor that has everything. I'm thankful for the company and that's why I'mwriting this review

Perfect form & function.
Great Compact laptop for mobile computing tasks (Adobe Lightroom, Bridge ... Internet browsing.etc). Top notch screen quality : bright & color accuracy/walnut. With 16gig ram & 256ssd HD everything runs perfectly. With a $25-$40 usb-c to usb3 ,hdmi hub I have more than enough ports when I need some. All the hardwares coupled with MacOS, its an awesome laptop! It did take me 3-4 days to read up and get familiar to MacOS (coming from Windows). Only one regret: why did I wait so long to switch to MacOS;-)

Screen Malfunction Month after warranty ends
I really love the computer and mac OS. However, One month outside of warranty and the screen is malfunctioning already, no damage to machine. This machine already had the battery replaced inside the warranty period. This is very disturbing as I love apple and I am heavy in the ecosystem. Really don't know what to do as replacing the screen is going to cost about half the price of the computer. If buying I recommend purchasing extended apple care. They don't make them like they used to, That's for sure.

I cried for this macbook pro.
I was very happy when i first see it... But when I use it, I find the battery of it is sooooo bad... it can only contain 23 hours. What's more, the fan is broken, so the computer is always buzzing when i use it.. And five days later, the screen is broken.. it is shining all the time...I am so sad about this shopping experience. I only have three weeks for the six tough finals, but have to process with computer problems..As I foreignal students, i really cried sadly when i have video with my family..

Piece of Garbage Almost Right Out of the Box
Very excited to get this computer. It's beautiful but defective. iTunes continues to try to load without ceasing and that stops me from doing anything. Can't get on Safari, can't do squat. It also went dark a couple of times and didn't turn on when I lifted the screen. I wish I wasn't trapped in the Apple ecosystem. Been a Mac user since 1985. Apple Care people on the phone had no idea how to fix it. It could, of course, be the rare defective computer but who knows. Very, very disappointed.

Probably a refurbished set
Its only been 8 months and in the beginning when I used it, the screen would have random images flashed across the screen in a strip. It happens when I scroll or when I watch netflix. I told bhphotovideo and they insist that it is the software at fault and not hardware, so I cant exchange it. I called Apple and they dont know how to fix it. I recommend getting your laptop in Apply store itself and dont waste your money here. Im disappointed and I should have bought it from Apple.

MacBook Pro 2017 - Love It!!
I've been a windows user for many years, but decided to get an MBP to gain knowledge and use for mobile and other types of software development. The speed that the OS loads is far better than my windows laptop with comparable specs. The interface is crystal clear and there are many articles to assist newbies like myself with quickly coming up to speed on the differences with key commands. So far I have no complaints or anything I'd wish for that was missing or could be improved.

Held Hostage
The new thunderbolt connection only is a control move. Had to buy connector with USB ,micro card slot ,ethernet, etc. just so my daughter could use it at college fall of 2018. Then one month in at college the screen goes out. Apple was great to fix it within one week. Then I find out two of her friends had problems with there new Mac books one had to make 4 trips to apple repair before they gave him a new mac which stoped working a week later. I will go with Lenovo from now on.

First time mac
Only needed this due to school curriculum using and teaching through macs for developer purposes. The product itself is fine. New and unused. This is my first Apple product ever. Battery life is great. Runs a bit warm, so have a laptop cooler. This retina display is nice. Camera quality is decent. Nice and compact/lightweight. Keyboard feels amazing to type on. Trackpad is large. The specs are okay. SSD really only thing thats great and cpu. Can get smudged easily though.

Ho-hum member of the MacBook lineup
Replacing well-used, worn-out MB Air. Love the new dimensions & the display. Strongly dislike the feel & sound of the keyboard. Deliberately avoided TouchBar. USB-C is an inconvenience, at least until Apple really commits to it across its offerings. I understand the multifunction appeal but for now & the foreseeable future it will require adapters, so if I need to live with a variety of connector types anyway, I'd rather keep the awesome mag-safe.

No regrets
So Ill be honest, I was very skeptical at first when I saw the MacBook from this site. It was hundreds less than any other site I had seen. I feared the worse but after reading reviews I gave it a chance and I have no regrets! My MacBook was exactly as expected and I saved approximately $400 plus shipping. Ive had zero issues with my laptop and would definitely recommend any skeptics out there to buy with confidence. I hope this review helps you.

How bout them apples!!
Love my new 13" MacBook Pro. It's exactly what I expected...and then some. Once again, Apple sets the bar. Worth the extra loot without a doubt. B&H was amazing to deal with...excellent customer service! I searched high and low for months, researching and comparing models/prices. B&H afforded me the best deal by far. No shipping fees OR taxes helped me save a good chunk of change as well. They're my new go to store for electronics/devices.

my first Mac
this is my first Mac. I've had an iphone for years but never made the move to Mac...I've been missing out. I love how this syncs up with my phone and I can use imessage without having to pick up my phone. This laptop is super fast. I love the SSD, it's totally quiet. It's been a bit of a learning curve to move to Mac from a PC but, not too bad. I'm not a big fan of the mac spreadsheet or word processing programs but, that can be fixed.

Good product at the possible lowest price
This is the possible lowest price I can find on the internet. And the laptop works so great! There's an issue is that do not put your MacBook Pro on bed, blanket or something like that. It will stop the laptop from dissipating heat. So my new MacBook Pro went through a screen glitch after I put it on the bed for several hours. But I think the major problem is that the computer is overheat. The overall performance is great, I like it!

Incredible laptop with superb build quality
Upgraded from an older 2015 Macbook Pro and the first things I noticed (apart from the gorgeous space gray color!), is the speed, the clarity and brightness of the screen and I love the feel of the new keyboard. Only had 2 USB-C ports, but a quick purchase of a USB-C to A cable has resolved the only thing I plug in (USB HDD for offline backup). B&H have the absolute best price and I was really pleased with free next day delivery.

Perfect laptop
I cant wait the newer model and so I took the promotion plus no tax for a 16g 256g 13 no touch bar! the size is just right for use at home. I actually like the new butterfly keyboard, and hope it lasts though. I have a 15 pro with touch bar from work but I dont like it - you have to take an extra step for a basic operation like skip a song or adjust volume. The speed is fast to process a lot of projects Im working on.

Best you can get
It's great. What can you say, it's powerful while light, and is everything we love about Apple's thoughtful designs. We all know however, that occasionally we have to go through some growing pains together as Apple advances their hardware. For this machine, we're talking ports. You're going to have to deal with some adapters until more equipment is on the same USB-C page but that's inevitable. Still totally worth it.
