excellent clear photos with beautiful colour
i was nervous moving onto a camera with more features ' but i have found this one very easy to use lightweight for such a large camera and i am thrilled by the ability of the zoom. also i am able to still get great macro shots , a great camera.

Great camera and easy to understand
A great camera and is easy to use it has a lot of features and performs under most circumstances. The only thing I have found is that it needs care when putting into a camera case that the power button has not been accidentally pushed on.

Best camera for all round use
I can’t believe how wonderful this camera is, it is so easy to use all the functions and you can also download apps for special effects. Overall I would recommend this to anyone and it’s a brilliant price to pay for the spec you get

Great camera
I have previously used DSLRs with interchangeable lenses plus small 'pocket' cameras and 'action cams'. The Sony HX400 pretty much replaces all other cameras (except in water!) in normal use. Really good quality, very pleased

Amazing picture quality even at full zoom!
lovely camera, very sharp images with option for HD video. Was also very pleased with the level of zoom and how it retians the image quality. does not come with a memory card but they are easy to find and not expensive.

Where's my £50 cashback
DSC-HX400V it's what it is. Reasonable quality images some nice in-camera wizardry. Easy to use, but time will tell if it's value for money. Extra battery quite pricey and charging it also not quick.

Easy to use, great pics straight away
I’m an artist and take this camera out every day on walks with my dog to capture images for inspiration..even on the first day I got some lovely shots of wildlife.. really happy with it.

Great but beware
Some features rely on use with software and other tech. Example, unless I am mistaken you can not Crop and resize an image and save copy on the camera. This is something i do all the time.

Loving It a lot

I wish I had purchased a bridge camera earlier
I wish I had purchased a bridge camera earlier, used an SLR for years but was finding it heavy to travel with this camera I find is much lighter with the effects of an SLR

Super Camera

My camera is good and easy to use
I thought it was going to be hard to use but it has a built in step by step guide on what to do. I'm made up with it. Well worth the price. And has an excellent zoom.

Great camera
Good for wildlife photos. Performs bad in low light though. Battery life is far better than I expected. A full charge will easily do me 400 pictures.
