Cool little packet
This camera can do so many things. Everything you need in a much larger mirrorless or DSLR is at your fingertips. You need delicate hands and fingertips though because everything is so small. But it has to be if it is to be so small. battery life can be improved and access to the memory card and battery slot requires you to take off the tripod which is inconvenient if you are shooting something with a time limitation. The video performance is amazing! No wonder Sony has gotten the market share it has.

Perfect for my needs
This camera has everything I wanted and need. I didn't want to lug around a big or even medium sized DSLR, knowing I wouldn't take it with me most of the time. But the RX100Vll is a different story. I goes everywhere I go, I keep it in a little belt case where it's easily accessible. One of my needs was a screen whereby I could view myself for videos. As for the quality of the stills and video, both are excellent.

Should include charger
So far this is the best compact camera I've ever used however in low-light it's still nowhere near a full frame camera. My biggest gripe is that for $1,200 it does not include a charger I had to buy that separately I also bought the stick on grip which makes the camera much easier to handle that should come with the camera or be built into it in my opinion so taking off one star for these minor inconveniences

So Far So Good
Haven't had it for long, but it seems like a great point & shoot. Small yet feels very well put together. It is very slick, so I suggest always using the wrist strap, or adding some sort of grip. As a lifelong Canon user, I am learning the controls, but they aren't too difficult to figure out. Will be using this as a travel camera when I don't want to lug around my DSLR.

Amazing camera
I have owned 2 previous RX100s and loved them both. This one tops them all. It is still slippery to hold so you need a grip but they are not expensive. I was shooting soccer game and saw some turkey buzzards overhead. I have tried shooting them in the past without a lot of luck. However with this camera it locked focus incredibly fast and I got great pictures.

A Great Camera But Overpriced
This is a great camera. One of the annoying things about Sony is the wait a year, add a mostly insignificant change to an existing camera, and up the price $200. I already owned the DSC-RX100, but this camera has a better lens, albeit slower, and the slow motion video I wanted. It also fixed the finder that fell apart on some of the previous versions.

BEST HAND HANDLE CAMERA!!
I purchased this camera once, B&H released the preorder option and I must say that I love this camera. The movability of screen to face the viewer and 2.8 aperture, amazing. It does a great job with picture, videos and the slow-mo is excellent also. I would recommend getting an additional battery if you doing any kind of videos or vlogs.

Fantastic Package
Love this little camera! Extremely powerful and it fits in your pocket. I bought this to replace my RX100V that I had worn out. It had taken me across North America on motorcycle multiple times and also been right at home doing family portraits and weddings. Cant beat it! Quick shipping too from BH so I didnt miss any shots.

Very nice camera
I've purchased many cameras, lenses and accessories from B&H. I love my full frame digital Nikon which weighs about 5.0 lbs with lens. By the time I climbed to the top of the Acropolis in Athens, Greece, the decimal point dropped out! This Sony is a wonderful side kick to my Nikon. I bought a second one as a Christmas gift.

Amazing Little Camera
I owned the Mark III previously and skipped the VI, V, VA and VI as I was very satisfied. Finally broke down when I saw the advanced AF and new Burst Modes. The improved video also helped in the decision. I have not been disappointed. If there is ONE thing I with it had is in-camera Timelapse Movie.

Utter Confusion
When I downloaded the owner's manual I was shocked to discover it was a 634 page document with no index and the pages were not numbered. The menus within menus were not intuitive and were anything but helpful. Do not buy this camera unless you enjoy desyfering complex computer programs!

Good pocket-sized camera
I've taken this out on several trips. It is easy to carry, silent! and small enough to not bother those around you. The tilt screen works well. I used it in several concerts, and its size and silence makes it almost invisible.

Love My New Camera and B&H
This is the camera that I have been waiting for!! I own a previous version, but I have always wanted more of a zoom lens. I love it and cant wait to use it on my trip next week. I also love B&H. There service is the best!!

Faster startup, faster focusing, more functions, Bluetooth... this is the best point and shoot camera in the market. I have had all of them since the M1 and I plan to continue upgrading every time a new model comes out.

Love the camera!
It has all of the friendly feature that a camera needs. I shot an event at Steppenwolf Theater last weekend that would not have been possible with my former RX100 V5 - the longer lens is one of its best features.

Focusing on steroids!!!
Excellent carry everywhere camera when the DSLR is not needed. Awesome build quality! Images are simply outstanding! I suggest getting the grip that sticks to the front of the camera as it can be a bit slippery.

Best point and click camera!
This camera is amazing! The picture quality is great! The video quality is far better than any phone camera! Love the flip up screen and the feature to control camera with the phone app! I highly recommend!

The best Point and Shoot ever
This camera takes fabulous pictures. The menu system has new in-menu helps that improve on menus like the a7III which I also own. It is a very handy size and will be my back up travel and daily camera

Compact, versatile

For a second camera!
This is great. Can not complain at all. It has great build, good feel, and takes gorgeous pictures. Not as good as the a9 or a7 series, but it is only a point and shoot.
