Samsung 10.1 Galaxy Tab A 128GB Tablet (2019, Wi-Fi Only, Silver)
Solid tablet
I've been pleased with this tablet so far. The unit is responsive and has no trouble with HD video. I wasn't crazy about the GUI so I installed the Google PIXL GUI. That works much better for me. My only complaint about the unit is that the speakers are very small and they are on the same side when in landscape mode. So, if you are watching a movie the sound only comes from 1 side. The sound quality is not great due to the small size of the speakers. Paired with a bluetooth speaker or headphones it's fine, but the speakers are not great. Good overall value for the price.

Right size, great performance
I hung on to an old cracked screen iPad3 until finally they stopped updating apps. Didn't need this for a phone, so got the wifi onlyversion, and because it is expandable to 512gb I went with the 32gb version. Screen has great picture, and overall the smaller size as compare to the old iPad is great. Android OS makes it consistent with my phone and apps. I ended up getting an inexpensive but perfect case- the tablet snaps into a custom hard plastic shell and is totally stable and looks great. Super happywith this purchase.

Slow and pokey
I just needed a simple tablet to use at home mostly in order to avoid my phone. My phone is an Android and lightning fast, so I am so confused why this tablet takes forever to do anything. Maybe the standards have changed since it was released. Opening Chrome seems to be a chore for it. It's okay, the screen is gorgeous, but I still wish I didn't buy it. I'm not asking it to do much, just check emails, Instagram, and the web, and it just seems out of its element. Okay at best.

Almost everything you need
This is a great tablet for the price. It has plenty of internal storage and a mini SD port to expand. It's light, but has a quality feel. The processor is fast enough to make it feel very responsive. I bought this tablet for mobile mapping and it handles apps like Avenza Maps very well. However, it doesn't have an internal compass or accelerometer. I didn't find that out until I ran down the specs on a 3rd party site.

Not as Advertised
The ad reads RAM/Storage come with 6GB/128GB for the larger of the two units. But it came with only 3GB Ram NOT 6GB. I'm a Senior Citizen who doesn't play games on a tablet so it won't make much difference. It did come with 128GB of storage and I added 512GB myself. I'm just surprised B&H didn't catch the misprint. Other than that I've only had it for a few days and haven't had time to put it thru its paces.

Nice tablet
Great sound quality for music videos, my roommate's requirement. The screen is bright with vivid colors. It loads quickly enough, not like our LG v30 or lg g8 but it is 1/4 the price. Battery life has been more than anticipated. It is a bit big and heavy to hold for hours while laying in bed but no worse than any 10 tablet. Definitely a great buy. Don't hesitate to own one.

I expected more...
The Good: Decent picture. The Bad: 1)WiFi connectivity is unreliable. 2)The so-called Dolby Atmos Surround Sound is NOT good (sounds muffled!). 3)Battery life is average. I bought this tablet to save money (I really wanted an iPad!). I made a mistake and regret it. Don't make the same mistake I made.

Not so sure
I am using a tablet for a month now. It is okey to watch movies and the like away from the laptop or the TV set. Perhaps, someone may use it instead of those but not me. The tablet works fine, the lack of a keyboard is not critical (it is not a laptop, for sure). Any way, it is just a new toy.

Slugish
I find it slow with only a few apps open at a time. I don't like the UI over Android and I find that the screen is not very responsive as it often need to be pressed multiple times to respond. This is personal, but after using it, I don't like the Aspect Ratio of 16:10.

Very happy with the tablet
This tablet has the very latest android version, fast processor, and memory that can be expanded at a very reasonable price. The 10 screen is very bright, to the point that it needed to be turned down. WIFI stays connected at the fastest speeds. Overall a good buy.

Good quality for a good price
I am very satisfied with this device because the size is very practical. Moreover, it's easy to use, the sound is very good as well as the image quality. I recommend this model (Samsung Galaxy tab A 128GB ) for quality and price.

Looks great! New to replace an older tablet
Just unboxed it and we haven't been using it as much yet. It looks, feels and response very well. The first initial setup is straight forward. Will be back with more details once we had chance using it for a couple of days.

Many Features
This tablet has many useful features. Using them are a little complicated for me. (Dummie) I hope I will be able to get a better understanding as I continue to tinker with it. A hard copy manual would really be helpful.

Well made tablet
Good speed. Lots of factory bloat junk, that as usual, is difficult to remove. It has a nice quality feel to it and a tiny bezel. I like that it's stiff and doesn't flex. Charges quickly.
