I didn't want another LG TV, but...
It has what I needed: Netflix, Prime Video, Freesat and Freeview. Thanks to Simplink, it works with my LG home theater, passing 5.1 sound. Built in speakers are rather poor. Picture requires some fiddling, default settings are way too "sweet". I'm not impressed by dynamic backlight, but I can live with it. Nice connectivity: LAN, Wifi, Bluetooth, USB, Optical audio - haven't tried Google Assistant and Alexa integration as it requires additional remote with microphone. DVR function, very useful.

Best tv ever
This tv is worth buying, what you get is pure quality, if you're connecting a sound bar make sure you use a optical cable and change the sound settings to LG optical sound sync ON, no sound issues this way, wouldnt recommend using bluetooth, theres sound sync delays and it can be quite frustrating to fix. The apps are very good, Netflix is brilliant for picture quality. The 4k is superb because its IPS 4k and not just standard 4k. The speakers built in are very good, not just standard ones

TV
Ex-display model, got it for half price. Good picture and sound. Didn’t have a stand, but purchased one from eBay. I was given a remote, but when I went to set up the TV a few days later, it was completely the wrong remote. It was for an LG blue ray device. Went back to the shop and thanks to Donna and Lee for sorting out a replacement which was an all in one and not an LG one. I couldn’t get it out of “store mode” but a visit from my nephew sorted that. Would recommend.

Good value TV with decent picture and sound
This model has very good sound at a good volume. The picture is good but compared to some others seems slightly soft and not as sharp. This difference is small and does not detract from the enjoyment. The menus are a bit illogical compared to previous LG and other brands tv’s and can take a while to work out. This is not helped as you don’t get much in the way of instructions and have to access the menus for the help/instructions. Overall very pleased with this item.

Freeview Play doesn't work
This is an excellent 4K HDR TV in almost all respects. It is claimed to support Freeview Play - the feature that enables 7 day catch up directly from the TV Guide. This is not yet implemented and there is no plan to implement it in a future firmware upgraded. When telephoned, LG and Freeview admitted this and advised me to return the TV to Argos for a refund. Argos gladly obliged. I then bought a Panasonic TX55 which does support Freeview Play and saved me £80

Great size and spec at a great price
Built-in WebOS - this is quite responsive and contains netflix and amazon amongst others. Also able to download some extra applications. The only two things to be wary of are: I would say always use a genuine HDMI v1.4 or higher cable. The supplied remote control is relatively basic and does not have the voice command function that the TV is capable of. There is another remote available with the voice command capability but it is at extra cost.

Old Samsung TV was dying
I have always been a Samsung fan, but having bought a 24 inch LG TV for the bedroom recently to replace a small Samsung TV, I was so impressed with it that I bought this LG 55 inch TV. Picture quality is excellent, sound quality is surprisingly good too. I had contemplated buying a soundbar, but so far don't consider it warrants the extra expense. I have watched 4K streaming via Amazon Prime and quality is very good. Very happy with my purchase.

Fantastic TV
This tv is brilliant it’s great in every way other than one issue the connection to the internet now and again seems to lose connection but it isn’t regular the last tv was a smart from years ago when they first came and it’s awful for losing connection and very slow but this tv seems to be very good If they could make it so TVs don’t lose connection be fantastic the smart tv interface is a lot quicker so I’m happy happy happy

Amazing television.
This tv has a superb picture and fantastic sound. Set up was easy. For gaming the 4k picture is amazing and you get an even better picture with High-dynamic-range imaging whuch is a high dynamic range technique used in imaging and photography to reproduce a greater dynamic range of luminosity than is possible with standard digital imaging or photographic technique. Would highly recommend the tv as I cannot fault it.

Fantastic☆☆☆☆☆
Absolutely love my New tv. the sound is fantastic watching a movie is like being in the cinema the picture is fantastic with no glare anywhere around the room the slim frame makes the tv look the same size as my old 48" tv but the screen is so much bigger so it takes up the same space with a far better picture and quality the stand is also slim and easy to clean around without moving the tv. well worth the price

Very good television reasonably priced
Really easy to set up and very impressed overall. There is no mini jack connection for external audio so had to buy new sound system with optical lead connection (lead not supplied). There is only one optical port so can only connect my DVD player or external sound system. I initially used the Bluetooth connection as a work around but audio drifted out of sync. Still an impressive television.

Great TV and great price for such a great telly
This TV is a real bargain and great quality for a free play TV.. Only criticism are the TV stand legs instead of in middle so had to purchase a new TV unit for this to place on so would recommend checking measurements. But would still recommend. Also first purchase was too big and customer services were great in it being collected and this item being delivered.

TV looks nice on my wall
To be honest ı was sure that five inches would have made bigger difference ;) . It looks nice and has lovely colours, sharp picture and is easy to use. But when you have a closer look at it (precisely when dusting on Saturday afternoon) you may notice that the plastic frame looks like it is not sealed properly. But then check the price and there you go ;)

Fabulous TV Set
The telly was bought for one of our tenants and he was mighty pleased with it. I set it up for him and he took to the controls like a duck takes to water. The LG TV was bought separately but connected together with an LG Blue Ray player, and both machines are still functioning well. No problems, and I thank Argos for selling such good electronic items!

Fantastic, looks the business.
Bought this over a Samsung model and so glad i did, The size is perfect and go's lovely with my matching LG 310 watt soundbar. Set up was a breeze and the picture is brilliant!! Tip... For best results turn of power saver settings also look on YouTube on how to calibrate the colour settings but not necessarily needed. Very happy with this purchase.

Looks good but beware.
If you are expecting crystal clear picture and immersive sound this LG tv is not for you. We thought we were upgrading from a Philips smart tv. Big mistake. We have returned the LG and bought a Samsung. Fantastic tv and Argos were great. Refunded the difference almost the same day. Highly recommend Argos, strongly disappointed with LG.

Great Tv
This tv is a great inexpensive purchase, bought pretty much to game on. Picture quality is great for its price point and the audio is great considering how thin the TV is. The Game mode is great for anybody wanting to console game @4k as it reduces input lag considerably. All the TV functions work great as well as the smart applications.

Everything it says it is, excellent TV.
100% happy, great TV, does exactly what it says it does. Easy to install, light Weight. , great picture, not bad sound but had better sound quality from other tvs., the sound isn't so bad that it deminishes its overall rating. I just noticed my other TV (Panasonic) had better sound. I would recommend this TV, its a good one.

Great TV but a few cons
Can’t add apps to it because of the webos software great sound and a good picture ( I replaced a Panasonic plasma which is why I didn’t give it 5 stars. Mess about with it I asked LG support if it would do some things and they said no, yet I managed to get it to do it For the price a really good bit of kit

Tv looks good and great picture
Tv is all that we hoped fir and more, wanted a bigger tv (55 inch) and thats what we got, tv delivered and within 10mins installed, controls easy to follow, picture first class, there are no down sides, all good, very happy with our purchase, and already got a member of our family to purchase one.

Lg tv
Bought this tv to replace my 48 inch tv Samsung.Nice tv looks nice very good for the price Picture very good even on normal sd but even better on hd,colours very good and sound good.Bought the majic remote on amazon cheaper than lg and is made by lg so good quality.Would recommend it.

My LG Smart tv looks fabulous
Bought this tv just over 2 weeks ago. I am delighted with fantastic colours and the sound. It is like having your own cinema in your lounge. This tv is great value for money, easy to install and quality of the picture is second to none Wouldn’t hesitate to purchase another LG TV

Great HD tv
A fantastic tv whuch was ourchased for a very good price compared to other similar TVs. Picture quality is very good, only criticism would be the speakers are to therear and can sound weird, and extra hdmi ports on rear coukd be better placed as it can prevent flush wall mounting

Good quality TV. Deliberated for a while against the more expensive but realised I was never going to compare by putting that tv next to this one. In comparison to my previous LED it is a clear improvement, apps are easy to use and connected to my other devices easily.
