Change out of the box picture mode
Eco out of the box picture mode changed to Vivid , then lower backlight and contrast settings to suit , this completely changes picture to my liking , picture quality is now great . Would recommend this tv but not with the out of the box settings .

Great TV for less than £400
This LG 49UM7400PLB is a fantastic upgrade to my older classic HD telly, and for less than £400 I couldn't ask for more. The picture quality and sound are brilliant, and I can finally watch films in 4K and HDR. I only had a bit of trouble with connectivity. Some Freesat channels didn't work properly when cable was connected directly from satellite dish to the TV, so I'm still using Manhattan box. Other than that all other connections work very well, including bluetooth that responds quickly.

Great TV
This is a replacement for our 12 year old model and only now have I realized what we have been missing. The TV was easy to set up and operation is straightforward. The picture is excellent and, in addition, connecting to the laptop and tablet is straightforward and useful for presenting photos etc. I currently have it connected to the satellite dish and this works well with Freesat, but it also works well from the antenna and the internet.

best Picture quality for the money
Bought an LG tv and really happy with the purchase, only downfall would be the sound quality isn’t as good as my last Samsung but overall the best tv for money

Perfect replacement for my living room
This TV looks smart and the sound quality is great! I needed a TV with feet a certain size to fit on my current TV stand and it does perfectly. It has all of the catch up apps plus Netflix and Now TV - just what I wanted. Love the size of the screen and have thoroughly enjoyed catching up on some TV since!

Great TV
As with a lot of TV's these days the sound quality could be better but it's decent enough. A good sound bar transforms the audio though. Picture quality is superb, no complaints from me!

Great sleek tv at a great price from Argos
Great tv..picture quality and features top notch.. Piece of cake to set up...would definitely buy LG again.. The price at Argos was a no brainer..easy to register and dispatch and delivery notifications first class at every stage Driver(Roger) who delivered was top man ..brought it into house for me..although I could’ve carried it..and it was raining Ordered on a Sunday evening..delivered on Monday morning..happy days Defo use Argos again..

value for money
a good believer in LG TV’s! This is our second set having moved from Samsung! The last LG LASTED ABOUT 3 years before it gave a loud bang and gave up so hopefully this one will last a few kore years but for the amount of money paid it serves it’s purpose

Huge upgrade for me!

This TV as is I expected from LG. My previous TV was an LG and I had it for 10 years with no problems and hence me going for same make. This one has not disappointed. It has a lovely picture and sound. Wall mounted easily. I'm very pleased and I would recommend.
