I needed a KVM that works with Windows7, but didn't want to have to spend too much. This IOGear unit has met that need. Excellent USB KVM Switch
I installed it to share Keyboard, Video monitor, Mouse and (sound too) between a Win 7 PC and a Win XP PC. All I had to do to get it to work was plug the Keyboard, Video monitor, Mouse and sound into the device (the device connections are well marked) and then plug one of the sets of leads comming from the device into into one of the PC and then plug the other set of leads into the other PC. Works great on Windows 7 and XP
I followed the tip discussed in these reviews and made the connections with both machines turned off. When I powered back up, the drivers loaded on the Windows 7 machine and everything works perfectly. The double-click on the scroll lock is much easier to use than my previous Cables to Go KVM which only lasted about a year. I hope this one lasts longer.

Works as advertised; good value
This purchase replaced an identical unit that started malfunctioning after 5 years. The fact that I chose the same one indicates my satisfaction. One reason I like it is that it works perfectly with Windows8. There's essentially no setup. Connect all the pieces, then turn on each computer. It's that simple. And at the price it's hard to beat.

Easy and Efficient
I use this to switch between my new and old computers with different operating systems. I'm no computer pro, but this was easy to install, and even easier to use. Just two taps on the Scroll Lock key and poof! almost instant switcheroo. The worst thing about this product is that I didn't buy it sooner. I would recommend this product to anyone

Easy to set up and easy to use
This product does exactly what it says it is going to do, it was super easy to set up and once set up it has been a breeze to use. I use the product to switch between a windows machine and an ubuntu box.

Everything I hoped and then some
It does just what it is suppose to do. It allows me to connect two computers to one monitor,keyboard, mouse, and speaker system. Just tap the scroll Lock key twice to go from one computer to the other.

Nice little Unit
I have a windows 7 and a Windows 8 box. We are not ready to go to 8 yet, but want to learn what it is about. Very easy switching and we have not had any issues with it so far.
