the sound is out of this world
i did buy the Panasonic sound bar but to be honest the sound had such a little difference it was not worth using the unit, so i took it back and got the Hitachi sound bar + boom box. wow ..... what a difference its opened a whole new world. amazed!

Great value for money
Bought this for my partner and I must say it's a great piece of kit. The sound bar looks very stylish under the TV and the sub-woofer is small enough to place anywhere in your room, but don't let it's size deceive you because it sends enough bass out to shake the floors and rattle the doors. Simple & quick to set up and great value. Highly recommended.

My daughter loves it but the neighbours don't.
Seems well made and looks good for a sound bar. Its quite loud and the bass is good. It was bought for a teenage girl as an early xmas present, who is very pleased with it. We may need a detached house as the neighbours are less than happy with it.

Great sound bar for a great price
Bought this about 1week ago, and this bar has a great sound, plus the subwoofer maker everything even better. I just don't know if my neighbour are too happy about it ahah.

Hitachi boom bar
Gives a totally different sound to the TV, it brings a cinematic experience into your room. With the sub woofer you experience sounds, bass and thumps not heard or felt with your TV or games box alone . If you have hdmi(arc) then your remote for the TV works it after you have set up the balance with the supplied remote.

Great value for money
Considering this is at the lower end of the soundbar market it has great sound quality and looks sleek. It is a little tricky to set up if you don’t know what you’re doing, and we needed to get a couple of different cables to attach it to our devices, but would definitely recommend this product.

Good for the price
Purchased for kids cinema room, looks good, fairly easy to set up and good overall sound. I have also plugged into Amazon Dot / Alexa via 3.5mm headphone connector so they can play music through it. Overall I would say very good considering the fairly low price. I haven’t wall mounted but I think you would struggle to mount flush to wall as would have to cut a hole in wall to make room for cables coming out of the back, may be an issue for some.

Excellent sound excellent design.
This sound bar is so good in comparison with its price. The sound quality is superb. Design and size is perfect. But i could not connect it with tv using optical cable.

Fills the room with a nice full sound.
Easy and quick to set up. Crisp sound with a nice low end from the powerful bluetooth subwoofer. Fills the room with a full sound that does not have to be loud. The remote is small and easy to use, fun to play around with adjusting the bass and treble levels to get it right for your enjoyment. Hides away nicely and nearly unnoticible in my living room but I love coming home and having a great system for such an affordable price.

Great Value Great Sound

Superb sound quality
Recently bought a new tv and the sound quality was awful. I previously had a full 5.1 surround system but the new living room layout didn't lend itself to that so I thought I'd try a sound bar. I didn't have high expectations to be honest but I thought I'd give it a go. Truly blessed to have found this from Hitachi. Connected it in just a few minutes, I'm so impressed with the sound quality. It's better than my 5.1 AV receiver was. Much better. Movies and hd programmes come alive. Delighted.

Excellent for the price
Great looking device. Easy set up. Very good sound quality. Clear and crisp with good base. Only treble and base volumes, no intermediate equaliser adjustments. But good amount of power for normal sized room.

Fantastic Sound Bar
Very happy with my purchase, the sound bar sound is great and certainly an improvement over the poor TV Speaker of my Samsung TV. I would recommend to anyone who requires better quality sound from their TV and with the added sub woofer what's not to like? Great Price with excellent construction and sound.

Connectivity First Priority
I bought this product thinking it would easily connect to my HD TV. Wrong! My 12 year old TV's HDMI port was not "ARC " labelled and Argos support told me it had to be! Then to rub salt into it the digital bitsteam output from my TV optical port was not recognised by the soundbar either, therefore no sound. An optical connection from my Sky+HD box would not work either! I was instructed to connect via the auxillary port to the TV's headphone socket. Result - a poor quality muffled noise.
